What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting guests like old friends and making new diners feel instantly welcome
- Taking honest pride in explaining menu items and making recommendations
- Delivering food and drinks promptly, with a careful eye for detail
- Checking in with tables (without hovering) to ensure everything’s just right
- Handling guest questions and requests with patience and positivity
- Clearing and resetting tables quickly, keeping the pace high but attitudes relaxed
- Working with the kitchen and fellow servers to keep service running smooth
- Pitching in with daily opening/closing duties — because everyone rolls up their sleeves here
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- A friendly, upbeat attitude and the energy to keep pace in a busy dining room
- Customer service instincts — you know when someone needs help without being told
- Good communication skills, both with guests and your teammates
- Reliability and flexibility with shifts (evenings, weekends, the occasional rush)
- Some English communication; a knack for building rapport goes a long way
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience as a waitress or in any hospitality customer-facing role
- Additional language skills (Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, etc.)
- Experience handling point-of-sale systems or basic cash handling
