About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Looking for your next role in Dubai’s bustling construction scene? Mimar Building Contracting L.C. is seeking driven individuals ready to leave their mark on the city’s ever-evolving skyline. Whether you’re excited by the challenge of tight project timelines or thrive on collaborative problem-solving, this is a chance to build something real — and see the results every time you walk down Al Rigga Street.
About the Company
At Mimar Building Contracting, we’re more than just hard hats and floor plans. Our office—perched above the aroma of Al Sultan Sweets and facing the familiar buzz of Al Rigga—serves as a lively crossroads of fresh ideas, team banter, and determined professionalism. We’ve grown steadily by staying true to our roots: delivering quality, keeping promises, and treating every client like a neighbor. Fridays tend to feature impromptu coffee runs (some swear by the sweets downstairs), and “good enough” is never, well, quite good enough for us.

- Report project progress to senior managers, using clear updates (not just spreadsheets)
- Foster a collaborative site culture, where every team member feels heard, respected, and motivated
- Walk the site regularly, acting as both mentor and watchdog for best practices
- Assist with permit applications and compliance documentation as needed
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience on-site in construction (Dubai market a definite plus)
- Strong organizational skills—you like when things run smoothly, and know how to make that happen
- Familiarity with construction documents and the language of contractors and consultants
- Problem-solving mindset — you don’t wait for someone else to fix it
- UAE residency or transferable visa
Nice-to-haves:
- Fluency in both English and Arabic
- Working knowledge of local building codes and safety standards
- Previous work with mid-sized build & fit-out projects
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
