Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, your daily tasks will include:

• Routine Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled inspections and servicing of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility infrastructure to prevent issues before they arise.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Responding promptly to maintenance requests, diagnosing faults, and efficiently repairing electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems as needed.
• Preventive Maintenance: Developing and following preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
• Facility Upkeep: Ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of all facility areas, including conducting minor carpentry, painting, and repair jobs as required.
• Safety Compliance: Maintaining rigorous adherence to safety protocols and UAE regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools and materials.
• Documentation: Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure operational transparency and accountability.
• Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues and management to address facility needs, report hazards, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Proven experience in facility maintenance, with hands-on expertise in electrical systems, plumbing repairs, and general maintenance tasks.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and procedures related to building maintenance and repairs.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in carrying out maintenance and safety checks.
• Commitment to Safety: Thorough understanding and implementation of workplace safety standards and best practices.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and perform under minimal supervision.
• Adaptability: Willingness to work in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift and urgent repairs are occasionally required.
• Communication Skills: Basic proficiency in English for reading manuals, completing reports, and collaborating with the team.
