About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a bustling contracting firm in Dubai’s fast-changing Al Nahda district? As part of our core administrative staff, you won’t just keep the wheels turning — you’ll be at the heart of everything, ensuring projects and teams move forward, smoothly and efficiently. If you’re organized, adaptable, and already based in the UAE, this could be the career move that brings both stability and growth.

About the Company

Our firm stands out in the local contracting scene — not just for the scope of our projects, but for the way our people collaborate to get things done. We tackle everything with a solutions-first mindset, favoring open communication and a hands-on attitude. It’s a place where you know your contributions matter: whether you’re streamlining paperwork or helping the finance team meet deadlines, your role connects every part of the business. (And yes, Friday team breakfasts are a real thing here.)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Handling day-to-day office administration, including correspondence, document management, and appointment scheduling.
  • Coordinating between different departments to ensure timely delivery of paperwork and seamless communication.
  • Assisting the accounting team with invoice tracking, basic bookkeeping, and reconciliation of records.
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment, and organizing resource procurement when needed.
  • Supporting HR with onboarding documents, leave records, and maintaining staff files.
  • Drafting professional emails and internal memos – clarity and attention to detail are a must.
  • Jumping in to assist with special projects or urgent admin assignments as they pop up.
  • Ensuring that all administrative operations comply with company policies and standards.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Prior experience in administrative, accounting, or office coordination roles (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic accounting software.
  • Professional demeanor with clear written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Current residency in the UAE (essential for on-site responsibilities).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience supporting teams in the contracting, construction, or similar industry.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and occasional after-hours needs.
  • A knack for process improvement or suggesting better ways to do things.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive compensation, paid transparently and on time.
  • A close-knit and supportive team that values straightforward communication.
  • Opportunities to grow — learn new software, take on extra responsibility, and see your efforts rewarded.
  • Modern workspace conveniently located in Al Nahda, with great transport links.
  • Regular staff get-togethers (think friendly banter over karak or cricket matches after hours).
  • Paid annual leave and public holidays.
  • A culture that respects work-life balance — we want you at your best, not burned out.

Here, every day is different, and every contribution counts. If you’re ready to step into a role where administrative work is valued — and never an afterthought — this could be your next adventure in Dubai.
