About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself admiring the smooth lines and rugged durability of a perfectly cast aluminum structure? If so, you might just be the Aluminum Cast Fabricator we’re looking for. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around a foundry and fabrication shop, with the skill and focus it takes to shape, weld, and finish aluminum components that stand the test of time. Here, your craftsmanship isn’t just appreciated—it’s essential.
About the Company
We’re a tight-knit team of fabricators, engineers, and problem-solvers with a reputation for top-quality industrial and architectural aluminum work. Ours isn’t a dusty old workshop—think modern tools, meticulous standards, and a culture that values both precision and learning. We take pride in our reputation, but we’re even prouder of our people. From Friday lunches in the break room, to jump-in-and-help attitudes on big projects, we believe our team spirit sets us apart. Growth is steady, and we’re eager to welcome someone who enjoys honing their craft alongside others who care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Pouring, shaping, and forming aluminum pieces—sometimes intricate, always rewarding.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints with a careful (maybe even slightly obsessive) eye for detail.
- Cutting, grinding, and finishing aluminum to match exact specifications. Quality is your compass.
- Handling MIG and TIG welding, with a focus on strong, clean joints.
- Collaborating with engineers and supervisors to solve the daily puzzles that pop up in custom fabrication.
- Inspecting and maintaining your workspace and tools—including seeing a clean area as the mark of a true professional.
- Continually checking finished work for accuracy, finish, and adherence to our quality standards. “Good enough” isn’t in your vocabulary.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in aluminum casting and fabrication for manufacturing or construction.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings/blueprints (metric and imperial).
- Hands-on skills in cutting, grinding, welding (MIG/TIG), and surface finishing.
- Strong attention to detail and a steady hand—flaws don’t get past you.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and keeping quality front and center.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with CNC or automated fabrication equipment.
- Experience with unusual alloys or custom casting projects.
- Certification in welding or metalwork.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive pay, paid weekly—no waiting around.
- Predictable weekday hours, with occasional (voluntary) overtime during big projects.
- Modern equipment, safety-first work environment, and paid safety gear.
- Supportive, family-feel team where everyone’s got your back.
- Plenty of opportunity to learn from seasoned pros—or to share your own tricks of the trade.
- Coffee’s always fresh, and management’s door is always open.
We believe that pride in your work makes all the difference—and here, it really does. If you’re ready to join a crew that cares about craftsmanship and each other, we’d like to meet you.
