About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Are you an Arabic-speaking Site Engineer ready to take ownership of ambitious projects right in the heart of Al Garhoud, Dubai? This isn’t just another construction role—it’s your chance to help shape the city’s ever-evolving skyline while working with a team that values your expertise and local insight. If you thrive on keeping things organized amidst the buzz of a busy construction site (and maybe even appreciate a perfectly poured cup of Arabic coffee during your break), keep reading—we’re looking for someone just like you.

About the Company

We’re a tight-knit and highly professional team, driven by a deep respect for quality engineering and strong community values. Our projects span residential and commercial developments, and we pride ourselves on delivering workmanship that’s not only structurally sound but also built to last. You’ll find that we genuinely care—about our clients, our employees, and the legacy we leave behind. Our site isn’t just a workplace, but a place where collaboration, quick problem-solving, and a shared sense of pride are a daily reality. Punctual site meetings, safety briefings with a side of humor, and spontaneous brainstorming sessions are all part of our routine—no two days feel quite the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing day-to-day site operations to ensure smooth execution of all construction activities.
  • Coordinating tasks and schedules with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Monitoring workmanship to ensure it consistently meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Enforcing strict compliance with safety protocols and reporting incidents as necessary.
  • Assisting in resolving technical issues on-site, often liaising directly with designers and consultants.
  • Preparing regular progress reports and presenting updates during site meetings.
  • Acting as the primary Arabic-speaking point of contact between the site and project managers or clients.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience supervising construction sites.
  • Fluency in Arabic, with strong communication skills in English as well.
  • Solid grasp of local construction standards, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Natural leadership skills—able to motivate teams and foster a positive, accountable atmosphere.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience on projects in Dubai or the wider UAE region.
  • Comfortable with construction management software and digital reporting tools.
  • A knack for troubleshooting challenges before they escalate.
  • Enthusiasm for team learning and knowledge sharing.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package, reviewed annually.
  • Inclusive, supportive team with a truly collaborative spirit.
  • Opportunities to advance as we take on bigger projects across Dubai.
  • Access to learning resources and encouragement to grow your technical skills.
  • Site locations easily accessible by public transport.
  • Respect for work-life balance—your weekends (and evenings) are for you.
  • Open-door leadership: your feedback and ideas are always welcome.

In this role, you’re not just managing a site—you’re helping to build the foundations of a trusted company and a changing city. If you’re ready to bring your expertise and energy, we can’t wait to meet you.
