About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Ever thought about the hidden orchestration behind some of Abu Dhabi’s most impressive buildings? That’s where a skilled BIM Modeler comes in! We're on the lookout for an experienced BIM MEP Modeler to join our fast-paced contracting company. If you’ve honed your Revit skills and have a sharp eye for detail, this could be the next exciting step in your career — especially if you thrive in an environment where accuracy, teamwork, and digital innovation meet on a daily basis.

About the Company

We’re a well-established contracting firm at the heart of Abu Dhabi’s ever-evolving skyline. Our reputation for quality means we don’t just build structures — we build trust and long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Here, deadlines are real (but so is support), and your efforts are always part of something greater. The team is diverse, collaborative, and genuinely appreciates a bit of good humor during those late afternoon drawing reviews. Curious minds and fresh ideas are always welcome; Fridays sometimes mean cake (and nearly always mean surprise tech demos).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing, updating, and maintaining detailed MEP BIM models in Autodesk Revit for live projects
  • Coordinating with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure model accuracy and compliance with project specs
  • Producing high-quality, fully coordinated MEP shop drawings, spotting (and resolving) clashes early on
  • Reviewing project documents, identifying potential design issues, and proposing practical solutions
  • Assisting with BIM execution plans and keeping project documentation organized and current
  • Collaborating with the site team to translate digital designs to real-life installation guidance
  • Participating in internal coordination meetings — your input matters here!

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in MEP modeling with Autodesk Revit
  • Strong skills in preparing MEP shop drawings and technical documentation
  • Familiarity with clash detection and coordination processes in multidisciplinary environments
  • Attention to detail, proactive mindset, and clear communication skills
  • The ability to work in the UAE (Abu Dhabi office-based role)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Navisworks or other BIM coordination tools
  • Previous contracting company exposure in the UAE or Gulf region
  • Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary structure with performance-based incentives
  • Modern office in Abu Dhabi’s business heart, plus easy access to project sites
  • Opportunities for skill development — we invest in your training and BIM certifications
  • Supportive team spirit with regular knowledge-sharing sessions (and occasional treats)
  • Clear pathways for career growth within a company that values merit and initiative
  • Diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace — your voice is heard here

If you’re looking for tangible challenges, real responsibility, and a team that genuinely cares about craft and collaboration, this could be your perfect next role. Each project is different, but the energy and camaraderie stay the same.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

You should expect a salary of at least 7,000 to 11,000 AED per month for an experienced BIM MEP Modeler role in Abu Dhabi, especially with your hands-on Revit expertise and MEP modeling background. Similar positions within reputable contracting companies in the UAE often offer this range, depending on your years of experience and specific technical skills, with performance incentives and training opportunities frequently available as part of the total package.
