What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing day-to-day building and facility maintenance across multiple sites—no two days quite the same
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, and following up on electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and general repair requests
- Coordinating with external maintenance companies and contractors, and making sure work meets our standards
- Managing and mentoring the in-house maintenance crew—think scheduling, training, and pitch-in attitude
- Creating concise, actionable reports on building conditions and ongoing maintenance needs (yes, your eye for detail will be noticed)
- Monitoring budgets, inventory of tools/materials, and preventative maintenance plans—because it’s not just about reacting, it’s about planning ahead
- Implementing emergency response protocols, ensuring safety is always top priority
- Keeping stakeholders updated when major issues arise, and contributing practical solutions at every turn
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Hands-on experience supervising building maintenance in commercial or residential properties
- Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and typical facility repairs
- Confidence coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal staff alike
- Ability to write clear, organized reports and maintenance records
- Organized, solutions-oriented, and cool under pressure (especially when the AC conks on the hottest day of the year)
- Tech-savvy enough to use maintenance management software and basic office tools
Nice-to-Haves:
