What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with key government entities and officials
- Navigating and managing processes on relevant government platforms—think visas, permits, and documentation—ensuring everything is accurate and timely
- Identifying new business opportunities, preparing and presenting tailored proposals and quotations that meet clients’ and stakeholders’ unique needs
- Monitoring industry trends, regulations, and policy changes, providing strategic insights to inform business decisions
- Negotiating terms and agreements with external partners in a way that’s win-win
- Acting as the go-to point of contact for all matters related to licensing, permits, and compliance documentation
- Collaborating closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to align processes and resolve challenges quickly
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in government relations and business development
- Valid residency permit and sponsorship by your family (non-negotiable for this role)
- Up-to-date driver’s license
- Strong negotiation skills—you’re comfortable at the table with anyone
- High proficiency in using all government online platforms and e-portals
- Experience preparing quotations and navigating procurement processes
- Solid communication skills in both spoken and written formats
Nice-to-Haves:
- Working knowledge of additional compliance or legal documentation processes
- Familiarity with the local business landscape and established network within relevant government bodies
