About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself admiring the delicate artistry behind a perfectly crafted canapé? If you have a knack for transforming simple ingredients into edible works of art, you might be just who we’re looking for. We’re on the hunt for an experienced Canapés Chef to join our team in Dubai Investment Park 2. Here, your attention to detail and passion for beautiful, bite-sized creations will be right at home—plus, your skills will be genuinely appreciated by a team that cares about quality as much as you do.
About Us
We’re a dynamic, close-knit catering company serving some of Dubai’s most discerning clients. Our philosophy is simple: food should look as good as it tastes. That’s why we put presentation on par with flavor, and why our clients keep inviting us back—to events big and small. The kitchen here buzzes with energy, quick banter, and (we have to admit) a bit of healthy competition over whose mini sandwich disappears first from the tray. If you thrive in environments where quality, speed, and teamwork are the daily standard, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and assembling a wide variety of canapés, mini sandwiches, savory pastries, and fresh salads—consistently meeting our high standards for visual appeal and taste
- Managing mise en place and ensuring your workstation is spotless, organized, and fully prepped during service
- Maintaining fast yet meticulous production, especially during busy event hours
- Collaborating with a multicultural kitchen team, sharing plating tips and new flavor ideas
- Checking that every tray leaving the kitchen looks top-notch—no wilted greens or uneven nibbles here
- Occasionally jumping in on menu development or client tastings, if you’re so inclined
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven hands-on experience (not just home cooking) with canapés, miniature sandwiches, pastries, and salads—work samples are a must!
- High standard of food presentation: you know how to make small bites look “wow”
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work quickly without cutting corners
- Good communication and a dependable, positive attitude in a bustling kitchen
- Willingness to work flexible hours when events ramp up
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with international or fusion flavors
- Familiarity with bulk catering operations
- Food safety certification
Not sure you tick every box but confident in your canapés? We’d still love to see what you can do.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary (AED 2,500–3,000) with accommodation provided—so you can focus on your craft, not your commute
- Opportunity to showcase your creativity in an environment that truly values presentation and consistency
- Supportive team culture where good food and good humor go hand in hand
- Lots of room for growth as our reputation (and client list) continues to expand
- Taste tests, kitchen laughs, and a chance to see your work steal the spotlight at events across the city
If you’re motivated by food that’s as beautiful as it is delicious, and you take pride in every plate—this could be the next step in your culinary journey.
