About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever imagined what it’s like to see Dubai’s remarkable skyline take shape up close? As a Civil Engineer (Site-Based) with us, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground, turning blueprints into reality and ensuring that every detail is crafted with precision. If you’re looking for a place where your problem-solving skills and technical know-how won’t just be appreciated but genuinely needed, you’re in the right spot. With major new projects in the pipeline and a team that values curiosity as much as experience, this could be just the challenge you’ve been seeking.
About the Company
We’re a growing player in Dubai’s dynamic construction landscape, with a strong reputation for delivering projects that marry innovation and quality — especially in the areas of luxury interiors and modern finishes. Our team is a lively mix of seasoned professionals and young talent, where ideas are just as likely to be exchanged over a morning site walk as in a formal meeting. Plus, we pride ourselves on transparency and flexibility — two traits you’ll notice from your very first day (and, yes, team pizza Sundays are a thing).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising day-to-day site operations, ensuring that concrete works, finishes, and interior details align with design and quality standards.
- Interpreting drawings and plans using AutoCAD; providing clear direction to site teams and subcontractors.
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to make sure materials arrive on time and specifications are met.
- Monitoring site safety and maintaining compliance with all relevant Dubai Municipality codes and regulations.
- Troubleshooting on-the-spot challenges — no two days, or two sites, are exactly the same.
- Preparing daily progress reports and updating project stakeholders as needed.
- Supporting the project manager in liaising with clients, consultants, and inspection authorities.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2-3 years’ hands-on site experience in the UAE, particularly with concrete, finishing, and interior works.
- Dubai Municipality Engineer Card (this one is mandatory).
- Confident with AutoCAD — you know your way around layouts, elevations, and revisions.
- UAE driving license (you’ll need to get around to sites).
- Fluent in both English and Urdu (written and spoken).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience with luxury or high-end interior projects.
- Familiarity with sustainable building practices or materials.
- Strong knack for foreseeing construction challenges before they happen.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive compensation, reviewed regularly so you’re always valued.
- Transportation allowance plus company phone — we set you up for success.
- Opportunities for growth — we prefer to promote from within.
- A truly collaborative, supportive work environment; your insights matter here.
- Hybrid flexibility for site administration (when project schedules allow).
- Regular team outings, professional development, and an open-door policy with management.
We believe professional achievement and personal fulfillment go hand in hand. If you’re ready for hands-on impact and real opportunity in Dubai’s thriving construction sector, let’s build something great together.
