What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring every detail meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Conducting site inspections and liaising with subcontractors to keep everything on track and up to quality.
- Reviewing technical drawings, plans, and documents, making sure implementation aligns with approved designs.
- Proactively identifying (and solving!) site issues before they become real problems.
- Coordinating with project managers and suppliers to keep materials and schedules running smoothly.
- Preparing progress reports and updating stakeholders on milestones, challenges, and achievements.
- Championing safety protocols and fostering a secure, positive work environment onsite.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in construction supervision within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, standards, and best practices.
- Solid command of AutoCAD, site management tools, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities without losing your cool.
- Currently based in the UAE.
Nice-to-Haves:
- UAE Society of Engineers membership.
- Experience with high-rise or mixed-use developments.
- A knack for mentoring junior engineers or site staff.
