About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Curious about the next step in your civil engineering career? We’re looking to add a dedicated Civil Engineer to our consultancy team — someone who’s as comfortable rolling up their sleeves on a technical challenge as they are collaborating with architects and contractors. If you’re seeking a role where your expertise in both design and supervision can genuinely shape built environments, you might find this opportunity a rewarding move. Here, your ideas and precision will matter from day one.
About the Company
Our firm isn’t your typical corporate consultancy. We’re a tight-knit group of engineers, planners, and creative problem-solvers who believe that civil projects should enhance communities, not just check boxes. While we’ve grown steadily over the past decade, we’ve kept our easygoing team spirit — Friday brainstorming lunches sometimes feature heated (but friendly) debates over bridge design or the merits of green roofs. Growth, mentorship, and sharing wins — that’s what drives us.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading or supporting the design process for unique civil engineering projects — from roads to residential developments
- Preparing precise technical drawings and specifications in collaboration with drafting teams and architects
- Utilizing top-tier design software (think AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS) to bring quality and accuracy to every project
- Conducting site visits and offering on-the-ground supervision when projects call for a steady hand
- Coordinating with stakeholders, reviewing construction documents, and making informed recommendations
- Keeping safety and sustainability at the forefront of every decision
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in civil engineering design or project supervision
- Confident use of engineering design software, especially AutoCAD, SAP2000, and ETABS
- Solid ability to prepare technical drawings and detailed project specifications
- Strong communication chops — with technical teams and non-engineers alike
- An eye for detail and a results-driven mindset
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous work on both public and private sector projects
- Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes
- Passion for sustainable design practices
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary, regular reviews, and room for rapid growth
- Flexible hybrid work arrangements — in-office collaboration and the option for remote
- Access to industry-leading software and tools (and the flexibility to suggest new ones)
- Ongoing opportunities for professional development and certifications
- Friendly, knowledgeable colleagues who genuinely have your back
- Regular team events and informal coffee catch-ups
- The freedom to take initiative and see your impact on the community
Here, your career isn’t just a job — it’s a journey we support at every milestone. We believe good engineering improves lives, starting with our own team’s.
