What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading site operations with a firm grip on scheduling and daily planning, making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time
- Supervising and motivating workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain quality and productivity
- Reading and interpreting civil/construction drawings, and translating them into actionable tasks
- Coordinating closely with engineers, site managers, and other trades to ensure work progresses without a hitch
- Monitoring and enforcing strict adherence to UAE safety standards—safety really does come first here
- Managing on-site resources, from manpower to materials, to keep progress on track and on budget
- Troubleshooting minor hiccups (because let’s be honest—they always happen) before they become major headaches
- Keeping clear, daily records of site activities, incidents, and manpower for reporting and future planning
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of hands-on UAE experience supervising civil works in a site-based role
- Proven ability to manage teams with strong leadership and communication skills
- Solid knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations and compliance standards
- Comfort reading and understanding construction drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Proactive problem-solver approach—flexible when needed yet always focused on solutions
- Familiarity with coordinating between project managers, consultants, and site workers
