About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Do you thrive on seeing a project come to life, step by step, from the ground up? Our team in Dubai is searching for a Civil Foreman who knows how to keep a site running smoothly, motivate crews, and maintain a sharp eye for workmanship. If you’re passionate about leading by example and making tangible impact on every stage of construction, this is your chance to join a dedicated team where your experience is truly valued — not just another cog in the machine.
About the Company
We’re a tight-knit construction group with a reputation for treating every build as our own — and every team member like family. Our projects range from residential complexes to landmark commercial sites, each delivered with a promise of quality and pride. You’ll find honest conversations on site, hands-on managers who actually know your name, and the satisfaction that comes from overcoming challenges together. Fridays? That’s when we gather over karak for project wins (and the occasional good-natured ribbing).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily site operations to ensure work is progressing according to plan and schedule.
- Coordinating teams of site workers and subcontractors — keeping morale high and quality even higher.
- Interpreting technical drawings, translating them into actionable steps for your crew.
- Checking that all work (excavation, concrete, block work, finishing, etc.) meets specifications, safety standards, and best practices.
- Troubleshooting issues on the fly, whether it’s a missing delivery or a last-minute design change.
- Reporting on progress to site engineers and project managers, flagging any snags before they become headaches.
- Making sure site housekeeping is top-notch — safety is non-negotiable here.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 3–5 years’ experience as a Civil Foreman within the UAE construction industry.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of all core civil works: excavation, concrete pouring, block and plaster work, site finishing.
- Proven ability to manage laborers and subcontractors, keeping everyone aligned and productive.
- Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and translating them for site teams.
- Strong organizational skills — you know how to plan ahead and adapt when things don’t go to plan.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Basic computer literacy (for daily site reporting and updates).
- An eye for continuous improvement — maybe you’ve even suggested changes that saved projects time or money.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Industry-competitive salary and steady, reliable work with reputable projects across Dubai.
- Supportive site management — approachable, hands-on, and always open to new ideas.
- Regular on-site training to expand your technical and safety skills.
- Work-life balance valued: expect a five-and-a-half day week, with Fridays winding down early.
- Team lunches, milestone celebrations, and the camaraderie that makes the long site days rewarding.
We believe good work deserves great respect. Here, your contributions don't go unnoticed — join us and help build Dubai’s future, one solid foundation at a time.
