This is your chance to join a team where your passion for precision and your expertise in MEP systems truly matter. If you thrive in dynamic environments and crave a seat at the project table (not just behind the scenes), keep reading.
About the Company
We’re a collaborative team driven by big ambitions—just like the city we call home. While we operate in a fast-paced sector, our culture leans supportive rather than stuffy. You’ll find us huddling over plans, trading ideas, and exchanging the occasional quip about who makes the best shawarma. We take the long view on growth, both in our business and for our people. New perspectives and sharp minds are always welcome; Friday ‘Win of the Week’ shoutouts are a tradition.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take the lead on preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for MEP aspects, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Develop and scrutinize accurate cost estimations for new tenders, making sure each proposal is both competitive and realistic.
- Track and manage costs during projects, ensuring budgets are on point (and if they wobble, you’ll know why).
- Assist with contract negotiations, variations, and claims — you know where those cost-saving opportunities hide.
- Liaise directly with engineering teams, subcontractors, and project managers to gather the right data and keep everyone aligned.
- Analyze project progress and prepare precise interim and final valuations.
- Maintain clear, well-organized financial records for all ongoing and completed works.
- Support the team in risk analysis and value engineering activities for better project outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor — Dubai/regional exposure is a plus
- Proven expertise in estimation, BOQ preparation, tender submission, and project cost control
- Sound knowledge of contract administration and financial management for MEP works
- Solid grasp of all main MEP systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing (firefighting know-how is a bonus)
- Familiarity with industry-standard software (AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ideally CostX or equivalent)
- Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with real-world problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you’re comfortable in both site boots and boardroom attire
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
