About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what it’s like to stand at the heart of a project, watching your leadership turn blueprints into real, tangible progress? As our next Civil Foreman, you’ll be the go-to person who inspires the crew, brings order to the chaos of construction sites, and ensures every detail reflects our commitment to top-notch quality. If you thrive on responsibility, know how to set a steady pace, and genuinely care about getting things done right the first time — this role at ALAAREB CONTRACTING LLC could be your next big step.

About the Company

At ALAAREB CONTRACTING LLC, building goes beyond concrete and steel — we’re passionate about projects that matter and teams that feel more like a community. Our offices buzz with problem-solvers, and our worksites are known for open communication (and the odd bit of friendly competition over whose section is the neatest). We’ve been in the UAE construction scene long enough to know quality is only possible with great people behind it. Whether it’s wrapping up a residential tower or tackling a complex fit-out, we put craftsmanship and integrity first. Fridays here? You can expect site wrap-ups that always end with a quick team debrief and, if the schedule permits, a shared coffee before everyone heads off.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervising and coordinating day-to-day site activities — from morning briefings to end-of-day checklists.
  • Leading site teams, allocating work efficiently, and keeping labor motivated (and safe).
  • Interpreting structural and finishing drawings, making sure every execution detail lines up perfectly.
  • Reporting daily progress and flagging any site issues early, so deadlines and standards never slip.
  • Collaborating closely with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep everyone on the same page.
  • Monitoring quality of workmanship, materials, and safety practices — and always setting the standard yourself.
  • Rolling up your sleeves when needed to troubleshoot and solve on-the-spot challenges.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • At least 5 years’ hands-on site experience on UAE construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of both structural and finishing works.
  • Confident ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Proven leadership: you know how to guide and motivate a team on busy sites.
  • Strong communication — able to coordinate clearly with the office, suppliers, and team members.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering (it’ll give you an edge, but practical site know-how matters most).
  • Experience with digital site reporting tools or basic project management software.
  • Familiarity with local authority inspections and documentation.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary structured for experience — plus timely payments, every time.
  • Team culture that values your voice; suggestions are always welcome and respected.
  • On-the-job learning, plus opportunities to move up as we expand.
  • Site location flexibility across various UAE projects (we’ll try our best to suit your preferences).
  • Work-life balance: We’re realistic about hours and respect your downtime.
  • Safety is non-negotiable here — and we walk that talk every single day.

There’s a straightforward sense of achievement that comes with leading our projects; you’ll see your influence in every finished floor and every team success. If you take pride in the details and find purpose in building things right, you’ll fit right in.

  • How do you stay proactive in identifying and addressing potential health and safety risks on site?
  • Share an example of how you’ve communicated site issues to management or other stakeholders to prevent bigger problems down the road.
  • When a project hits a tight deadline, how do you maintain your team’s morale and ensure quality doesn’t suffer?
