About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever wondered what it’s like to be the go-to expert during those pivotal moments on a job site? As a Construction Consultant in Ajman or Dubai, you’ll have the chance to shape impressive projects from blueprint to build, ensuring everything runs smoother than a freshly poured slab. If you thrive on solving practical puzzles, enjoy being the steady hand clients trust, and want to see your impact grow across real skylines — this role might just be your next big leap.
About the Company
Our firm isn’t one of those faceless corporations where your voice gets lost in the noise. Here, we’re a close-knit team that blends technical expertise with local insights — whether it’s swapping coffee recommendations or troubleshooting a tricky permit. As a trusted name in the UAE construction scene, our focus is on delivering quality, safety, and innovation at every turn. We value curiosity and accountability; Friday site walks end in group discussions (and yes, sometimes an impromptu team lunch).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure projects meet quality standards and local regulations
- Providing clear, practical guidance to contractors and project teams — bringing clarity when things get complicated
- Preparing and reviewing reports, schedules, and technical documentation in line with UAE construction codes
- Consulting with clients to turn their requirements into actionable site strategies
- Identifying potential risks and troubleshooting issues before they become costly delays
- Liaising with local authorities, suppliers, and stakeholders to keep timelines realistic and relationships strong
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in construction or consulting roles, ideally within the UAE
- Solid understanding of UAE construction laws, codes, and best practices
- Confident communication skills — equally comfortable on-site or across a conference table
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience with high-rise or mixed-use developments
- Familiarity with digital project management tools (like Primavera or MS Project)
- Working knowledge of Arabic
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses
- Supportive, collaborative team — we celebrate small wins, not just big handovers
- Flexible working hours and options for remote coordination (site visits are a must, but micromanagement isn’t)
- Ongoing professional development — from safety certifications to emerging tech workshops
- A strong sense of pride in building projects that matter to our community
You won’t just be supervising timelines; you’ll be part of a company where your opinions help shape how we do things — and where there’s always someone up for coffee after a long day on-site.
