About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Ever caught yourself analyzing the fine details of a beautifully finished hotel lobby or a luxury villa’s custom millwork? That’s the kind of magic we create — and we’re looking for a Construction Engineer who gets just as excited about seeing plans jump off the page and into reality. At Astrea Furniture and Decor Factory, our projects aren’t just jobs; they’re curated experiences for some of the UAE and GCC’s most discerning clients. If you’re eager to take the lead on high-profile fit-outs and see your expertise shape iconic spaces, this might just be your next great move.

About the Company

Astrea Furniture and Decor Factory is more than a fast-growing interior fit-out company — we’re a tightly knit team fueled by a shared love for craftsmanship and innovation. You’ll find us sketching ideas over coffee, trading site anecdotes, and celebrating big project wins together. Friday demo days are the highlight of our week (and yes, we take our in-house made croissants pretty seriously). With an established reputation across the UAE and GCC, we pride ourselves on integrity, precision, and delivering solutions that set new benchmarks for quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing daily site operations for furniture, joinery, and turnkey interior fit-out projects, ensuring work is executed to the highest standards.
  • Coordinating between design, production, and installation teams to keep timelines and budgets on track.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to clarify requirements and resolve site queries swiftly.
  • Monitoring project progress — from material delivery to final snagging — and reporting updates to Project Managers.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations, workplace safety, and Astrea’s uncompromising quality criteria.
  • Anticipating challenges on-site and brainstorming solutions with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Reviewing technical drawings and specifications, flagging any discrepancies before they become issues.
  • Helping mentor junior engineers and site supervisors — because teamwork really is how the magic happens here.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or furniture installation projects (GCC experience highly valued).
  • Strong working knowledge of site operations, project documentation, and health & safety best practices.
  • The organizational chops to juggle multiple projects and deadlines — without dropping the ball.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • AutoCAD proficiency (or a knack for wrangling technical drawings).
  • Previous experience working with high-end hospitality or luxury residential projects.
  • A sense of humor for those challenging site days — we promise, it helps.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive compensation reflective of your skills and experience.
  • Exposure to landmark projects across the UAE and GCC — your work will be seen (and celebrated).
  • Supportive, close-knit team where your ideas and solutions are truly valued.
  • Opportunities to learn, grow, and take on bigger responsibilities as we continue to expand.
  • Modern, collaborative work environment — with regular team events, Friday snacks, and plenty of cross-departmental banter.
  • Convenient Al Jadaf location with easy access to Dubai’s city pulse.

We take our work seriously — but not ourselves. If you’re ready to help shape spaces that wow and want to play a pivotal role in a company on the move, you may have just found your new professional home.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a Construction Engineer with 4+ years’ experience in interior fit-out, joinery, and furniture installation—especially within the UAE/GCC—similar roles typically offer a monthly salary ranging from 8,000 to 14,000 AED, depending on your expertise and specific project exposure. Given the high-end nature of Astrea’s clientele and the complexity of their projects, you should expect a salary at least within this range, with room for negotiation if you bring specialized skills or luxury project experience.
