About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it takes to keep a construction site running smoothly from sunrise to sign-off? As our next Construction Foreman, that’s exactly where you come in. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in the field—not just behind a desk—to help steer our projects at Al Ladeem St., Al Nahyan Camp. If you find satisfaction in bringing structure, safety, and teamwork to life on real job sites (even when the blueprints change overnight), this could be your kind of crew.
About the Company
We’re not your average construction outfit. Our team is tight-knit, motivated, and has a reputation for tackling ambitious builds that other crews might think twice about. Daily challenges? Bring them on—we genuinely enjoy rolling up our sleeves together. Open communication and trust are the real foundations here. Whether you’ve got a way with cranes or just killer negotiation skills for herding subcontractors, you’ll fit right in. Let’s just say, around here, Friday lunch is sacred, safety is second nature, and we actually like our team meetings.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Directing and motivating site teams, from seasoned tradespeople to new apprentices, so everyone pulls in the same direction.
- Coordinating workflow for daily tasks—think concrete pours, material deliveries, and making sure nobody’s standing around waiting for the next step.
- Monitoring job site safety, holding toolbox talks, and ensuring everyone finishes every shift in one piece.
- Communicating with project managers, suppliers, and sometimes clients—keeping everyone in the loop (no surprises).
- Tracking progress, troubleshooting delays, and adjusting on the fly to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Inspecting completed work for top quality and compliance with all standards.
- Maintaining inventory of tools and materials, balancing resourcefulness with fiscal responsibility.
- Helping train new team members, sharing operational know-how and the occasional “here’s what I learned the hard way” story.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as a construction foreman or supervisor, ideally in commercial or residential projects.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with a knack for motivating teams.
- Working knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and blueprint reading.
- The ability to adapt quickly, solve problems on the spot, and keep everyone calm under pressure.
- Confident communication—whether directing a crane operator or explaining a delay to a client.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality with a careful eye for detail.
- Basic tech skills: daily reports or site photos via your phone or tablet.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Certification in construction or safety management.
- Experience working on projects in the Al Nahyan area or similar environments.
- Fluency in multiple languages—always a plus on diverse sites.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive compensation—you’ll know you are valued.
- Regular weekday schedules, with overtime fairly managed and compensated.
- Supportive team culture where everyone has each other’s back.
- Up-to-date site equipment and tools—no more fighting over the decent drill.
- Opportunities for professional development, from certifications to learning new skills on the job.
- Team-building BBQs and milestone celebrations (we believe hard work deserves some fun).
- Safety-first mindset—we invest in the right gear and training so you can focus on the job, not the risks.
- Open-door management—your feedback helps us get better, project after project.
If you want to help build something solid in a company that truly values your leadership, let’s talk. This site—and this crew—could be the next step in your construction journey.
