What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on your chosen role, your day-to-day might look like:
- Safety Officer:
- Monitor and enforce safe work practices on-site
- Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents, maintain reports, and provide training to crew
- Scaffolder:
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding with efficiency and attention to safety
- Inspect materials and keep everything secure per regulations
- Cooperate closely with engineers and fellow laborers
- Plumber:
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems on both new and ongoing projects
- Diagnose plumbing issues — sometimes on the fly, sometimes with blueprints in hand
- Ensure high standards of workmanship in all finishings
- Welder:
- Read blueprints and weld structures and fittings according to project needs
- Perform maintenance on welding equipment
- Work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Mason:
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stones with expertise
- Mix and match mortar, handle repairs, and finish masonry to a high standard
- Work as a key part of a tight-knit team, ensuring structures are both solid and good-looking
What You’ll Bring
