About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Think your ideas are too bold to stay on the drawing board? As our next Creative Director, you’ll set the tempo (and the vision) for a studio that’s redefining what it means to be creative in the heart of Dubai’s Al Quoz arts district. This is more than just overseeing beautiful work: you’ll shape big campaigns, brand launches, and digital-first storytelling, guiding a talented team that’s hungry for fresh inspiration. With a two-year residency sponsorship and top-tier benefits, this role is perfect for a creative leader ready for the spotlight and the unique pulse of Dubai’s creative scene.
About the Company
Nestled among Al Quoz’s bustling warehouses and hidden galleries, our agency thrives on pushing boundaries — think of us as part design studio, part think-tank, and all heart. We believe great work gets even better when the team truly clicks, so every Thursday you’ll find us swapping sketches (and stories) over late-afternoon karak. We’re in a growth phase that’s seen us win major regional accounts and global recognition, but we’ve never lost our scrappy edge or our appetite for big, wild ideas. Above all, we champion authenticity, collaboration, and the brave pursuit of “what’s next.”
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary creative team — from seasoned designers to ambitious copywriters — always steering the vision forward.
- Developing and pitching original concepts for 360° campaigns, branding projects, and digital content that engage and excite.
- Overseeing the entire creative process: brainstorming, concepting, execution, and final deliverables, ensuring quality at every stage.
- Collaborating closely with clients to understand business needs, translating their aspirations into compelling visual narratives.
- Providing constructive feedback, mentorship, and support to creative staff — challenge, nurture, repeat.
- Keeping a finger on the pulse of design trends, digital platforms, and industry innovations — and knowing when to lead, not just follow.
- Jumping in on new biz pitches and enjoying the art (and adrenaline) of the persuasive presentation.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 6+ years’ experience in creative direction within advertising or design (agency experience strongly preferred).
- An inspired, up-to-date portfolio demonstrating breakthrough campaigns and brand work.
- Proven leadership chops — you’ve led creative teams through fast-paced projects and tight deadlines.
- Eye for detail (you’re the one who spots that off-kilter kerning or misplaced comma).
- Clear communicator with both clients and creatives — you rally people around a vision.
- Comfort working across visual, digital, and social channels (no silos here).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in Dubai, GCC, or culturally diverse teams.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus, though not a deal-breaker.
- Skills in motion graphics or interactive media.
- A sense of humor and a love of Friday breakfast runs.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Two-year residency visa sponsorship — we’ll help you settle in and feel at home.
- Comprehensive health insurance from day one.
- Accommodation provided in a creative neighborhood (and an easy commute).
- Company transport for work and agency outings (no Uber stress!).
- Regular team events (think gallery hops, agency nights-in, and creative workshops).
- Ample opportunities to lead high-visibility projects, both locally and internationally.
- Support for continued learning, whether it’s a workshop or a design conference.
- A collaborative, idea-driven environment where your vision won’t just be heard — it’ll be celebrated.
