About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

What does it take to turn a rough day into a good one for someone else? If your answer is “a little patience, a lot of empathy, and a knack for solving problems,” you might be just the person we’re looking for. We’re searching for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the heart of Barsha, Dubai. Here, you won’t just be answering questions—you’ll be the reassuring voice our customers rely on, and the reason they come back again and again.

About the Company

We’re a close-knit team that thrives on creating memorable customer journeys, not just transactions. Our workspace is buzzing with friendly faces, helpful mentors, and the occasional lively debate over the perfect way to handle a tricky request (spoiler: there’s more than one). Even though we move fast and take our work seriously, you’ll find plenty of laughter and a spirit of teamwork that makes every day a little brighter.

Transparency, respect, and a focus on personal growth are baked into our culture. Whether it’s our monthly team breakfasts or our open-door policy for new ideas, you’ll find plenty of ways to have your voice heard and your efforts recognized.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and warmth—no script robots here.
  • Listening carefully to customer concerns, then troubleshooting and resolving them with creativity and a sense of urgency.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer requests and orders are processed smoothly and accurately.
  • Documenting interactions and following up to be sure every promise is kept, every time.
  • Staying in the loop on our latest products, services, and policies so you can offer up-to-date support and sage advice.
  • Ensuring safety procedures and company standards are always top-of-mind and being followed, both on the phone and when supporting on-site customers.

What You’ll Bring

  • Must-Haves:

    • Comfortable speaking and writing in English (bonus points for Arabic).
    • Previous experience in a customer-facing role—maybe in retail, hospitality, or call centers.
    • Calm under pressure, especially when things get busy or a customer is upset.
    • Reliable, punctual, and a stickler for following procedures.
    • Strong organizational skills; you keep a cool head and tidy notes.
  • Nice-to-Haves:

    • Previous experience in the Dubai market or familiarity with Barsha’s local culture.
    • Knowledge of CRM systems or customer support tools (extra gold star if you can teach us a shortcut or two).
    • An eye for spotting ways we could improve our processes—or even our coffee breaks.

Not sure you check every box? Don’t sweat it. We value curiosity and a can-do attitude, and we’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package with regular reviews.
  • Supportive onboarding, plus chances for ongoing training and career development.
  • Flexible scheduling where possible—family emergencies or life appointments won’t derail you here.
  • Fun team events, from pizza lunches to community service days.
  • Modern workspace in Barsha, right in the thick of Dubai’s best amenities.
  • Employee discounts and a recognition program that actually means something.

When you join us, you’re not just building a career—you’re helping shape a company that truly values the voices of its team and the happiness of its customers. If you’re looking for a job where you make real connections and leave people smiling, you’ll fit right in.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Can you walk us through how you would handle a customer call where the person is upset about a delayed order, ensuring both empathy and a positive resolution?
  • Tell us about a time you worked in a customer-facing environment—what strategies did you use to stay professional and organized during particularly busy periods?
  • How do you make sure that every customer interaction—whether by phone, email, or in person—feels warm, genuine, and not scripted?
  • Describe your experience with customer support tools or CRM systems. Are there any features or shortcuts you find especially helpful, and why?
  • If you notice a recurring issue in the way customer requests are processed, how would you go about raising this with the team or suggesting improvements?
  • What steps do you take to stay up-to-date with new products, services, or changes to company policy so you can provide the best support possible to customers?
  • Imagine you’ve just finished helping a customer, and you realize afterward that you forgot to complete one small part of their request. What would you do next?
  • How do you stay calm and maintain attention to detail when juggling multiple customer inquiries at once?
  • Tell us about a time you had to coordinate with another team to resolve a customer issue. What was your approach and what was the outcome?
  • In your view, what role does teamwork play in delivering excellent service to customers, especially in a fast-paced, collaborative workplace like ours?
  • How do you react if a coworker suggests a new way of handling a customer service scenario that’s different from what you’re used to?
  • Have you ever found a way to make a standard process more efficient or enjoyable for either customers or team members? What did you do?
  • What does personal growth mean to you, and how does it show up in your workday?
  • Our company culture values laughter and open communication. What helps you contribute to a positive atmosphere, even on tough days?
