About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Have you ever found satisfaction in making sure not a single detail falls through the cracks — especially in a fast-paced construction environment? As our new Document Controller/ QC Engineer, you’ll sit at the crossroads of precision and collaboration, ensuring that every piece of documentation and technical submission lines up perfectly with project needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established construction company in Abu Dhabi’s rapidly developing Liwa region — a place where new builds are changing skylines and your expertise matters every single day.
About the Company
Here in the heart of Abu Dhabi Liwa, we don’t just build structures — we’re building a reputation. Our passionate team is known for tackling ambitious projects and taking great pride in doing things the right way, the first time. You’ll find our office is a mix of buzzing site engineers, quietly focused document experts, and the occasional group chat about the best local lunch spot. We’re growth-minded, tight-knit, and genuinely invested in the success of our people as much as the projects themselves.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating and controlling the flow of all project documentation from engineering drawings to technical submittals
- Preparing and submitting material inspection requests (MIR), method statements, shop drawings, work inspection requests (WIR), and other technical documents to consultants — making sure they’re always accurate and timely
- Keeping meticulous records: tracking submissions, approvals, and revisions to ensure everything is up to date and accessible
- Acting as a bridge between our team, consultants, and contractors to resolve document-related queries and ensure everyone is on the same page
- Reviewing quality control (QC) processes on site, flagging issues, and participating in inspections alongside consultants when required
- Supporting project managers and site teams by providing clear, well-organized documentation when they need it most
- Proactively following up on pending documents, approvals, or clarifications — never letting an important update go unnoticed

Not sure you tick every single box? We’d still love to hear from you — initiative and a will to learn go a long way here.
