What You’ll Be Doing
For Draftsman:
- Translating design concepts and engineering instructions into precise, detailed drawings using AutoCAD and related software.
- Coordinating closely with engineers and project managers to refine plans and incorporate on-site realities.
- Reviewing and updating drawings to reflect project changes, sometimes at a moment’s notice (we all know the drill).
- Preparing presentation-ready visuals and detailed shop drawings for infrastructure projects, keeping deadlines on track.
- Collaborating with site teams to resolve technical hiccups and ensure smooth implementation.
For HSE Engineer:
- Conducting thorough site inspections and risk assessments—your eagle eye for safety really matters here.
- Developing and implementing HSE plans tailored to the unique challenges of infrastructure work.
- Providing on-site technical guidance, addressing safety concerns in real time (sometimes under the Abu Dhabi sun – bring your best hat).
- Leading toolbox talks and training sessions: your voice helps keep everyone confident and compliant.
- Investigating incidents, compiling reports, and driving continuous improvement in our safety culture.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- For Draftsman: 5–10 years of drafting experience, with a strong portfolio in infrastructure projects.
- For HSE Engineer: Meaningful experience in a site-based HSE role, ideally within infrastructure contracting.
- Solid understanding of local and international standards relevant to the UAE.
- Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt in a high-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills – both in documentation and on-site with colleagues from varied backgrounds.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the latest design software or digital project management tools.
- Certifications relevant to drafting (for Draftsman) or HSE credentials such as NEBOSH/IOSH (for HSE Engineer).
- Experience with large-scale projects across the Gulf region.
