About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Have you spent years helping students turn their global education dreams into life-changing realities? If the thrill of mapping out the right course, country, or career makes your day, this could be your next big step! We’re on the hunt for an International Education Consultant to join our team in Al Mamzar, Dubai. Here’s your chance to play an influential role—guiding ambitious learners and their families through the maze of international study options. It’s more than just paperwork; it’s about creating opportunities, one student at a time.

About the Company

We’re a tight-knit group fueled by curiosity, compassion, and a stubborn belief that education is the best passport. Based in Al Mamzar, our boutique consultancy is devoted to helping students in Dubai and the wider region access universities across the globe. Our workspace is sunlit, our coffee is strong, and our team lunches often turn into mini brainstorming sessions about education trends and student success stories. It’s not uncommon for alumni to drop by just to say hello, and we wear that as a badge of honor.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the primary advisor to students and families, helping clarify their academic goals and charting the best-fit study destinations.
  • Offer tailored recommendations for universities and majors based on in-depth knowledge of international education systems, trends, and requirements.
  • Guide students through the full application and registration lifecycle—think everything from crafting personal statements to managing deadlines.
  • Handle documentation and communication with universities, ensuring a seamless application process.
  • Stay in close contact with students at every stage—from first inquiry to post-enrollment—offering support, reassurance, and practical problem-solving.
  • Conduct information sessions, workshops, and one-on-one consultations (sometimes over a friendly cup of tea) to build trust and demystify the process.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow up with students and institutions to ensure all steps in the admissions process are on track.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Previous experience in international education consulting, preferably with a strong network of university contacts abroad.
  • Deep familiarity with application procedures for major destinations (UK, US, Canada, Australia, EU, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills—fluency in English is required; additional languages a plus.
  • Empathy, patience, and a knack for navigating cross-cultural conversations.
  • Strong organizational skills and an eagle eye for detail.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with student visa applications or pre-departure orientations.
  • Comfort presenting to small groups or running webinars.
  • Familiarity with student CRM or application management tools.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and clear, performance-based incentives.
  • Weekends off, plus additional holiday time during key student transition periods.
  • Friendly, down-to-earth colleagues who genuinely root for each other’s success.
  • Modern, welcoming office just steps from Al Mamzar Beach (yes, lunchtime walks are a thing).
  • Ongoing professional development and access to international conferences or training events.
  • Occasional team celebrations for every student’s big admission win.
  • Opportunities to shape new services as our company grows—your ideas won’t just be heard, they’ll be in action.

We’re passionate about making a real impact in young people’s lives—and, just maybe, in yours too.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For an International Education Consultant role in Dubai with prior experience and strong knowledge of global admissions, you should expect a salary of at least 7,000–10,000 AED per month, with some consultancies offering additional incentives or commissions based on student placements. Similar positions in boutique education consultancies tend to fall in this range, especially if you bring a solid track record and strong university connections. If you offer specialized skills, like multilingual ability or deep experience with particular destinations, you may be able to negotiate towards the higher end of this scale.
