What You’ll Be Doing
- Interpreting electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics to guide your team with confidence.
- Leading and mentoring site electricians and technicians—setting daily priorities, coordinating tasks, and keeping morale high.
- Planning and organizing daily site activities to ensure smooth, timely progress (and minimal surprises).
- Liaising closely with project engineers, subcontractors, and other trades to resolve technical issues on the ground.
- Inspecting and testing completed installations to ensure strict compliance with safety codes and client specifications.
- Maintaining up-to-date site records and reporting on progress, challenges, and resource needs.
- Troubleshooting electrical faults and coming up with practical fixes, often under tight deadlines.
- Enforcing health, safety, and quality standards—you’ll be the person others look to for best practices.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman (ideally within the UAE or GCC, and preferably in MEP/building services).
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Hands-on leadership style—you genuinely enjoy guiding and developing teams.
- Working knowledge of UAE electrical standards, regulations, and site safety protocols.
- Good communication skills, both on the ground and with management.
