Step into a Role with Real Impact: Experienced Electrician Needed in Internet City, Dubai

How often do you get to be the spark behind a company’s smooth operations? If you’re an experienced Electrician looking for your next challenge, we want to hear from you. At our bustling Internet City location in Dubai, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our workplaces—and folks who depend on them—stay on and online. This isn’t just another maintenance job; it’s a chance to problem-solve, innovate, and truly own your craft in one of the region’s most dynamic tech hubs.

About Us

We’re not your typical, old-guard facility crew. Our team thrives on technology, collaboration, and a strong sense of accountability. Here in Internet City, ideas (and good coffee!) flow just as freely as the electricity you’ll be working with. We celebrate the fact that every member—from IT guru to electrician—keeps our entire ecosystem running. You’ll enjoy an environment where safety is paramount, and expertise is valued—but don’t worry, Friday team lunches are just as important as deadlines.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Layout, install, and commission electrical wiring and fixtures in both commercial offices and supporting infrastructure—no two projects will be quite the same.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, blackouts, and appliance-related issues before they turn into real headaches.
  • Tackle emergency repairs and safely restore service; sometimes the unexpected happens, and you’ll be the hero who puts things right.
  • Coordinate with our tech teams for specialized installations (think server rooms and smart systems) in ways that keep operations humming.
  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of all electrical systems, flagging any potential risks before they escalate.
  • Keep thorough records of your work—clear enough for any team member to step in, detailed enough for compliance.
  • Follow all UAE electrical regulations and safety protocols to a tee; we take everyone’s wellbeing seriously here.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • At least 3 years of electrical experience in a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of building and electrical codes regulated in the UAE.
  • Proven skill in troubleshooting, repairs, and safe installation practices.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and confidence communicating with non-technical colleagues.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or emergency callouts, when needed.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Certification/license as per Dubai Municipality requirements.
  • Familiarity with smart building technologies or low-voltage systems.
  • Previous experience in a tech-centric or coworking environment.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package with overtime and callout compensation.
  • Steady, reliable work with a tech-forward company that values its support teams.
  • All the safety gear and tools you need—plus ongoing training to keep your skills sharp.
  • Friendly colleagues who know your name and share a mutual respect for your expertise.
  • Modern workspace in Dubai Internet City, with good coffee and regular team socials.
  • Clear opportunities for career progression—we like to promote from within.

It’s not just another job in facilities. It’s a place to grow, collaborate, and keep one of Dubai’s most exciting business hubs shining—literally and figuratively.

  • Friday team lunches and social activities are part of our culture here. How do you contribute to building camaraderie and strong team relationships in the workplace?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For an experienced electrician working in a tech-centric environment like Internet City, you should expect a salary of at least 4,500–6,500 AED per month, with opportunities for overtime and callout bonuses as mentioned in the job description. Similar roles in Dubai’s commercial and technology sectors often reward hands-on experience and specific certifications, so if you have a strong track record and relevant licenses, you may be able to negotiate at the higher end of this range.
