About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever thought about making a positive impact on a young family’s daily life, right at the heart of Dubai? We’re an Indian family in Al Karama seeking a full-time, live-in English-speaking Housemaid who is ready to jump in and help our home run smoothly. If you’re passionate about childcare, have housework experience in the UAE, and want to join a welcoming, vibrant household, this is your chance to become someone’s everyday hero.
About the Family
We’re a small, close-knit Indian family in Al Karama, with one very lively 3-year-old daughter who loves to explore and play. Our apartment is warm, lively, and filled with laughter (and maybe a few toys scattered here and there). We treat our helpers like extended family—sharing meals, respecting each other’s cultures, and making sure you feel right at home. Weekends are a big deal, and we love making space for family time — yours and ours.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Caring for our delightful and energetic 3-year-old girl—this means everything from meal prep to bedtime stories to keeping her engaged and safe throughout the day.
- Managing daily household duties: cleaning, laundry, tidying up, and keeping our home neat and organized (yes, there will be some toys to pick up!).
- Independently keeping track of routines, schedules, and the little details that help our home run seamlessly.
- Occasionally assisting with meal preparation or simple cooking as needed.
- Being part of our family’s everyday life, sharing your smile, kindness, and initiative.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience working for families in the UAE — you know the ins and outs of household routines here.
- Comfort and confidence caring independently for a toddler (age 3) — whether that means handling snack time, storybooks, or little adventures.
- Ability to communicate well in English.
- Age between 20–25 years, with a friendly, well-groomed, and professional presence.
- Adaptability and willingness to pitch in wherever needed in the house.
Not sure you meet every single requirement? Let’s talk — we value kindness, honesty, and a willingness to learn just as much as experience.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary: AED 1,700 per month, always paid on time.
- Comfortable, private accommodation provided — your space will be respected.
- Supportive and friendly household; you’ll feel like part of the family, not just an employee.
- Located conveniently in Al Karama, with easy access to everything you need in Dubai.
- Weekends are for family — we make sure you have reasonable time for rest and personal recharge.
- Room to grow: long-term helpers become trusted family friends (and yes, we celebrate birthdays together!).
If you’re ready for a role that’s meaningful and rooted in care, with a family that values respect and warmth, we can’t wait to meet you. Let’s see if we’re the right fit for each other! Interviews happening this Saturday and Sunday in Al Karama — we hope to hear your story.
