About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to become part of a warm, bustling household right in the heart of Dubai? We’re looking for a dedicated, energetic live-in Housemaid to help support our family in Al Karama. If you enjoy caring for young children and thrive on keeping a home running smoothly, this could be the new start you’re seeking — especially if you’re eager to join a family that values trust, respect, and a touch of fun in daily life.
About the Family
We’re a cheerful Indian family who believes a happy home is built on kindness and teamwork. With parents both balancing busy days and a playful 3-year-old daughter who brings energy (and her fair share of giggles), our home in Al Karama is always lively. We enjoy home-cooked meals, sharing stories at the dinner table, and making sure everyone feels like part of the family. You’ll feel right at home if you appreciate clear communication, cultural traditions, and the occasional treat of homemade chai.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Caring for our 3-year-old daughter, including playtime, meals, and keeping her engaged throughout the day.
- Managing bathing, dressing, and maintaining her personal hygiene — she’s at that curious age where everything is an adventure!
- Handling general household tasks, from tidying up after meals to making sure everything is in order.
- Preparing simple, healthy meals (familiarity with Indian cuisine is a plus, but not required).
- Independently organizing daily routines and schedules — you’ll have the autonomy to keep things running smoothly.
- Occasionally helping with errands or grocery shopping within the local area.
- Creating a positive, nurturing environment where our daughter always feels safe and cared for.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Age between 20–25 years, with a friendly and presentable appearance.
- Previous experience working as a housemaid or nanny in the UAE.
- Confidence in independently managing a preschool-aged child and household duties.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely caring attitude.
- Preference for candidates holding their own visa (but not a must).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Knowledge of basic Indian cooking or willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Al Karama and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Flexible enough to adapt to family routines and needs.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive monthly salary of AED 1700.
- Private, comfortable living accommodations within the family home.
- Supportive, welcoming environment — we treat our team like extended family.
- Opportunities to celebrate Indian festivals, meals, and family traditions.
- Respect for your independence and privacy when off-duty.
- Flexible, understanding approach to your personal needs and time off.
We’re excited to welcome someone who wants to grow with us, share little life moments, and find both stability and belonging in their work. If you’re looking for a family that sees you as more than just help, you may have just found your home away from home.
