About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever thought about making a difference in a warm, welcoming family’s everyday life? We’re currently looking for a caring, energetic English-speaking housemaid to join our home in Al Karama, Dubai. This is a full-time, live-in position — perfect for someone ready to take on a meaningful role supporting a young child and keeping a household running smoothly. If you have experience working in the UAE and love children, this could be a great next step for you.
About the Family
We’re an easygoing Indian family who values kindness, honesty, and a positive spirit in our home. Our three-year-old daughter is the center of our world — she’s bright, playful, and loves attention. Our days are busy but filled with laughter (and a bit of mess!). We genuinely appreciate everyone who helps make our home a happy place. In our house, mutual respect goes both ways, and we make every effort to ensure new members settle in comfortably and feel like a valued part of the family.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take loving, responsible care of our toddler daughter throughout the day, ensuring she is safe, active, and happy
- Create engaging playtime, read stories, and support her learning and development (think singing rhymes and building blocks, not just screen time)
- Handle everyday household chores — tidying up, organizing, and keeping things running smoothly, both independently and as part of our routine
- Prepare simple, healthy snacks or meals for the child as needed
- Help with general cleaning, laundry, ironing, and household organization (we’re tidy but not obsessive!)
- Work closely with the parents to understand routines and special preferences
- Be a calm, reassuring presence — someone our daughter can trust and rely on
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience working as a housemaid or nanny in the UAE (at least 1 year preferred)
- Age between 20 and 25 years old
- Fluent, conversational English skills (so you and our daughter can share lots of stories!)
- Energetic, good-natured, and genuinely fond of children
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks responsibly
- Presentable and well-groomed appearance
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with Indian family culture or cuisine
- First aid knowledge or early childhood care experience
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary of AED 1700/month, always on time
- Fully provided live-in accommodation — your own space, full meals included
- Supportive, family-like environment where you’re treated with respect
- Located in Al Karama, a bustling yet homey part of Dubai with everything close by
- Chance to build a real, ongoing connection with a joyful little girl (who already loves showing off her coloring books)
- Open communication — we value feedback and want you to feel settled
- Family outings, celebrations, and the occasional treat day!
At the end of the day, we hope you’ll feel at home here — and that your work will feel rewarding, not just routine. We’re eager to find someone we can count on, laugh with, and welcome as part of our family.
