About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered how the fast-paced world of Dubai’s car rental industry balances growth, innovation, and razor-sharp financial acumen? As our new Finance Manager, you’ll find yourself right in the thick of things—steering financial operations that keep our wheels (literally) turning. This role isn’t just about balancing books; it’s about being the strategic partner our business needs to thrive in a constantly evolving sector. If you’re passionate about numbers, fleet management, and future-focused problem-solving, you might find your next chapter here in Barsha 1.

About the Company

We’re a Dubai-based car rental company that’s more than just a fleet of vehicles — we’re a tight-knit, energetic team that loves turning challenges into opportunities. Our office in Barsha 1 buzzes with problem-solvers who appreciate the city’s quick tempo and share a healthy respect for both spreadsheets and storytelling. Growth is in our DNA; we’ve expanded steadily in recent years, but haven’t lost our personal touch. Whether it’s shared lunches in the break room, or the team’s friendly rivalry over who can spot a classic car on the road first — we find ways to make every day a bit more interesting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing all aspects of financial management, from budgeting and forecasting to cash flow analysis, tailored specifically to the rent-a-car sector
  • Managing fleet financing options and building relationships with banks and leasing partners to ensure optimal funding structures
  • Monitoring asset depreciation and implementing strategies for maximizing vehicle value throughout their lifecycle
  • Preparing detailed financial reports, providing insights for strategic decision-making to senior leadership
  • Leading, developing, and mentoring a small but dynamic finance team
  • Playing a central role in annual audits and regulatory compliance—think of yourself as our in-house financial navigator
  • Building dashboards and models that help us spot trends in utilization, revenue, and operating expenses
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with operations and fleet teams to align business objectives with financial discipline
  • Supporting pricing strategies and contract evaluations with real-world data and industry context

What You’ll Bring

  • Must-Haves:

    • Proven experience as a Finance Manager (or similar role) in car rental or automotive leasing within the UAE
    • Strong grasp of fleet financing, bank relationships, and depreciation management
    • Excellent command of financial modeling and advanced Excel
    • Sound knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and audit processes specific to automotive leasing
    • Analytical mindset with a knack for turning numbers into actionable insights
    • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic a plus)
    • Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
  • Nice-to-Haves:

    • Experience with ERP systems or rental industry software
    • A curious mind ready to suggest process improvements or automation ideas
    • Prior hands-on experience during times of fleet expansion or restructuring

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package with performance-based bonuses
  • Work from a well-connected Barsha 1 office, with hybrid/remote days considered
  • Health insurance, paid time off, and support for professional development
  • A close, collaborative team that values new ideas and celebrates every win
  • Regular “fleet field trips” to see our latest arrivals up close
  • Room to grow and drive real impact, both for our business and your own career trajectory

You’ll notice quickly: we move fast, value one another, and genuinely enjoy what we do. If you thrive in an industry where every day is different, you’ll fit right in.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a Finance Manager in Dubai’s car rental sector, you should expect a monthly salary in the range of 18,000–26,000 AED, depending on your qualifications and years of relevant UAE experience. Similar roles, especially those requiring industry-specific expertise and professional certifications (like CA, ACCA, or CPA), often fall within this bracket, with potential for higher earnings if you bring strong fleet management and strategic leadership skills.
