About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever pictured yourself at the helm of a stunning, high-spec interior fit-out? As our Fit Out Foreman, you’ll get to turn architectural visions into ready-to-use spaces, leading projects that set benchmarks for both quality and style. This is your chance to run the show on site — from wrangling trade teams to finessing those crucial last details — all while building some of the most talked-about spaces in town.
About the Company
At Al Jahili, we’re more than just a fit-out contractor; we’re creative collaborators, craftspeople, and problem-solvers who thrive on raising the bar with every project. Picture a place where there’s always fresh coffee brewing in the site cabin and plenty of laughter during lunch breaks, but when it’s go-time, our team snaps right into action. We believe in precision, pride in our work, and a little healthy rivalry over who can deliver the crispest finish. As we continue to grow our roster of high-end commercial clients, we’re looking for a foreman who shares our appetite for excellence — and a good on-site playlist.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking full ownership of luxury interior fit-out projects, from the first delivery to the final snagging.
- Coordinating daily site activity — assigning tasks, solving challenges quickly, and keeping everything humming.
- Managing a diverse crew of tradespeople (carpentry, drywall, MEP—if you know, you know).
- Inspecting work along the way, ensuring that every finish is flawless and up to our high standards.
- Proactively handling site safety and making sure everyone goes home just as they arrived.
- Serving as the main on-site contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and — sometimes — demanding clients.
- Monitoring progress, staying ahead of deadlines, and communicating real-time updates to the project manager.
- Keeping site records organized (paperwork isn’t glamorous, but essential).
- Spotting potential snags and tackling them with creative, practical solutions.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Proven track record as a foreman on commercial interior fit-out projects.
- Solid experience with core trades like carpentry, partitions, ceilings, and finishes.
- Leadership skills that motivate teams and earn respect, not just compliance.
- The ability to read drawings and visualize the result, right down to the shadow gaps.
- Excellent organizational skills and calm under pressure — you don’t let the small stuff slip.
- Focus on quality, safety, and meeting deadlines (because reputation matters).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with ultra-high-end or bespoke projects.
- Familiarity with digital project management tools or snagging apps.
- Strong communication in both English and Arabic.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary, paid on time, every time.
- Comprehensive benefits package — because you deserve peace of mind.
- Supportive management team that values your input (not just your output).
- Opportunities for skills growth and genuine career progression.
- A close-knit crew who celebrate wins, large and small — and don’t mind a bit of site banter.
- All tools and PPE provided — so you can focus on the job, not the gear.
- Modern projects that you’ll be proud to sign your name to.
We work hard and take pride in every corner, reveal, and finish. Ready to lead the next chapter with us?
