What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating a team of skilled workers on interior fit-out projects, with a special focus on Gypsum, Painting, and Decoration.
- Interpreting technical drawings, project briefs, and specifications — making sure plans turn into practical, high-quality outcomes.
- Keeping a keen eye on progress, troubleshooting challenges on-site, and adjusting workflows to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing standards.
- Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations — safety first is our unspoken motto.
- Checking quality of materials delivered and coordinating with suppliers when something’s not up to scratch.
- Liaising with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure everyone’s expectations (and timelines) are aligned.
- Training junior staff and sharing your technical know-how (and maybe a trade secret or two).
- Maintaining accurate reports of daily activities, changes, and incident logs.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Considerable hands-on experience as a Foreman in Gypsum, Interior Fit-outs, and Decoration projects (UAE experience highly preferred).
- Solid technical knowledge of Gypsum partition and ceiling works, painting, and general finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings fluently.
- Strong leadership and team management skills — you know how to get the best out of every crew member.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Good communication skills (English essential; Hindi/Arabic an advantage).
- Familiarity with site safety protocols and best practices.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in fast-paced environments or with luxury residential/commercial interiors.
- Knowledge of other finishing trades (carpentry, tiling, etc.).
