What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring all work is completed safely and up to standard
- Coordinate and supervise workers, providing clear instructions and on-the-job guidance
- Liaise with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule
- Monitor material usage and make sure resources are used efficiently
- Conduct regular site checks — you’ll catch any hiccups before they become issues
- Keep detailed site records, from attendance to daily progress
- Make quick, practical decisions to resolve site challenges as they arise
- Promote safety best practices and ensure everyone follows company guidelines
- Report directly to project managers, sharing updates (and the occasional good news)
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience working as a Foreman on construction or contracting sites in the UAE
- Strong skills in supervising workers and organizing site tasks
- Solid understanding of UAE construction processes and site safety requirements
- Good communicator — can give directions clearly and resolve small conflicts diplomatically
- Comfortable working under the sun (and sometimes, under tight deadlines)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Valid UAE driving license (this will make your life much easier)
- Familiarity with industrial construction, not just residential projects
- Basic knowledge of English or Arabic (helpful, but not essential)
