What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring work progresses safely and according to plan
- Interpreting and implementing architectural and structural drawings, clarifying details with architects or engineers as needed
- Overseeing crew members, assigning tasks based on workflow and individual strengths
- Monitoring work related to air conditioning, sewage, and other key infrastructure to ensure installation meets specifications
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to guarantee that materials and equipment are where they need to be, when they need to be there
- Troubleshooting on-site issues quickly and calmly, keeping minor hiccups from becoming major headaches
- Regularly updating the project manager on progress, setbacks, and resource needs
- Enforcing health and safety standards—in other words, making sure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day
What You’ll Bring
- At least two years of hands-on experience in contracting and construction within the UAE—bonus points for complex or multi-phase projects
- A keen eye for technical drawings: Reading, interpreting, and even questioning when something doesn’t look quite right
- Practical know-how in air conditioning, sewage systems, and general construction practices
- Strong leadership skills: You know how to motivate a team, resolve conflicts, and keep morale high, even on tough days
