Salary: Negotiable

About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever find yourself noticing new trends on TikTok before your friends do? Or maybe you can’t walk past a restaurant or spa without mentally storyboarding the perfect Instagram Reel? If so, you might be the creative spark we’re looking for! As a freelance content creator with our team in vibrant Sheikh Zayed, Dubai, you’ll get to shape the digital voice of brands that people love — from chic cafés to luxury spas.

About the Company

We’re a close-knit, fast-moving creative agency (a mix of big dreamers and detail-lovers) specializing in bringing hospitality and lifestyle brands to life online. Think of us as the storytellers behind some of Dubai’s most memorable menus, treatments, and experiences. We thrive on creativity, collaboration, and a lot of team banter — especially when someone brings in treats from their latest restaurant shoot. Our culture values good ideas over egos and celebrates every milestone, big or small.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Shooting, editing, and producing professional-level short videos and photos for various social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more).
  • Collaborating with clients (think restaurant and spa owners with big personalities) to turn their stories into engaging digital content.
  • Researching and applying the latest social media trends, filters, formats, and viral challenges to keep our work fresh.
  • Brainstorming content concepts with our creative team — your ideas won’t just be heard, they’ll be put into action.
  • Managing multiple shoots and edits in a fast-paced environment, often juggling several projects at once (you’re a pro at this).
  • Ensuring all content aligns with the visual identity and goals of each client brand — even if that means redoing a few shots for perfection.
  • Advising on improvements for lighting, location, and social-first storytelling — your expertise here is appreciated!

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Current residence in the UAE, with availability for on-site work in Dubai (Sheikh Zayed, specifically).
  • Proven experience filming, editing, and producing top-tier social media content (send us your reels or portfolio!).
  • Sharp eye for visual storytelling and the ever-evolving content trends on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
  • Quick, creative thinker with a knack for ideation in food, beverage, spa, or beauty industries.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients, capturing their vision, and making them look (and sound) their best on camera.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing shoots, edits, and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior work with restaurants, cafés, spas, or beauty salons — show us if you’ve made an açai bowl look like art!
  • Experience with motion graphics, basic animation, or influencer collaborations.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Flexible, project-based freelance role — you control your schedule.
  • Opportunities to build (and show off) your portfolio with top-tier lifestyle brands in Dubai.
  • Supportive creative team that values initiative, celebrates wins, and never says no to a good coffee break.
  • Access to unique venues and personalities — no two days, nor two shoots, are ever the same.
  • Space to experiment with your own ideas (yes, your creative fingerprint matters here).
  • Competitive compensation, with prompt payments for every project.

If you’re driven by creativity and eager to capture Dubai’s dynamic hospitality scene, you’ll feel right at home with us.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Can you walk us through your creative process for shooting and editing short-form videos specifically for Instagram or TikTok?
  • Tell us about a time you introduced a new trend, filter, or format into your content—how did you spot the opportunity, and what impact did it have?
  • How do you approach client collaboration when you’re working with strong personalities, such as restaurant or spa owners, to capture their brand’s story authentically?
  • What strategies do you use to ensure each client’s unique visual identity and goals are reflected in your final content, especially when working on multiple brands simultaneously?
  • Describe your experience managing several shoots and edits at the same time—how do you prioritize and stay organized under tight deadlines?
  • Can you share a specific project where you advised on location, lighting, or storytelling elements to improve the final output? What was your reasoning?
  • Have you worked with influencers or incorporated motion graphics or basic animation into your social content? If so, what was your approach?
  • Tell us about a time when a shoot didn’t go as planned—how did you adapt and what was the outcome?
  • How do you continuously keep up with evolving social media trends and ensure your content remains fresh and relevant?
  • Give an example of how you pitched a creative content idea that was implemented—what steps did you take from brainstorming to final execution?
  • What do you enjoy most about working with hospitality or lifestyle brands, and how does that passion come through in your work?
  • Our team is all about idea-sharing and celebrating wins, big or small. How do you contribute to a supportive and collaborative creative environment?
  • How do you handle receiving critical feedback from clients or the team on your work, especially if it means redoing part of a project?
  • What excites you about shaping the digital presence of Dubai’s hospitality scene, and how would you bring your creative fingerprint to this role?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis
