About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Have you ever wanted to see your leadership skills turn blueprints into reality across one of the world’s most dynamic skylines? If you’re a seasoned General Foreman itching for your next professional adventure, this could be the change you’re ready for. We’re a well-established contracting company in Dubai’s Al Qusais—and we’re looking for that special someone who knows their way around structure and finishing work, leads teams with integrity, and genuinely loves the hectic rhythm of construction sites.
About the Company
We’re not just another name on Dubai’s impressive roster of builders; we’re a tight-knit crew that's built a reputation for delivering solid work, on time, every time. Our growth is steady—and fueled by word-of-mouth from happy clients and motivated employees. Expect lively project meetings (sometimes over strong, sweet tea), a leadership team that’s big on hands-on support, and a company culture that values straight talk, humor, and a job well done. Team barbecues after major milestones? They’re legendary around here.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing all day-to-day site activities for both structural and finishing works, ensuring every detail meets stringent quality standards.
- Leading, motivating, and mentoring a diverse team of site workers—think respectful authority, not a drill sergeant.
- Coordinating materials, subcontractors, and equipment with a sharp eye on schedule and budget (because we all know time is money).
- Troubleshooting issues onsite—sometimes with a sense of humor, always with decisive action.
- Acting as the reliable bridge between site workers and upper management, keeping everyone aligned and informed.
- Maintaining a strong safety culture where everyone heads home safe, every day.
- Using your UAE driving license to move efficiently between our vibrant project sites across Dubai.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with reputable contracting companies in Dubai.
- Proven expertise in both structure and finishing works—reading drawings, solving practical build challenges, the works.
- Genuine ability to direct, support, and get the very best out of site personnel from varied backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills in English; bonus points for Arabic or other languages common on site.
- Valid UAE driving license (non-negotiable—you’ll be on the go).
Not sure you tick every box? Let’s have a conversation anyway; ambition, integrity, and a can-do spirit go a long way with us.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive, timely salary—you earn it, you get it.
- A collaborative, respectful team where hard work is noticed and appreciated.
- Steady pipeline of diverse projects to keep things interesting (from residential builds to commercial interiors).
- Professional growth—you’ll be trusted with responsibility and encouraged to chart your career here.
- Responsive leadership and open-door policies—no bureaucracy blocking good ideas.
- Team gatherings, snacks on long days, and a genuine sense of camaraderie.
At the end of the day, we believe a good foreman deserves both challenge and respect. If you thrive amidst concrete pours and final inspections—while keeping morale high—we’d love to welcome you into our growing story in Dubai.
