What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading a diverse team while inspiring a culture of respect, accountability, and high performance.
- Developing and executing big-picture strategies that boost operational efficiency and profitability across all transport and contracting projects.
- Overseeing project timelines, quality, and budgets — keeping a sharp eye on every moving piece, from resource allocation to safety compliance.
- Cultivating long-term relationships with clients, partners, and government entities in the oil & gas and transportation landscape.
- Assessing and mitigating risks, ensuring that all programs align with both company goals and the highest industry standards.
- Driving business development initiatives to expand our footprint in the Western Region and beyond.
- Reporting to senior stakeholders and continually looking for ways we can do things smarter, safer, and better.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 5 years’ proven experience as a General Manager (or equivalent senior leadership) within the transport or contracting sector — bonus if you’ve navigated the unique demands of oil & gas.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a steady hand in high-pressure environments.
- Demonstrated history of driving operational excellence and financial results.
- Deep understanding of industry regulations, health & safety standards, and tendering processes.
- Strong negotiation and client management abilities.
- A collaborative mindset and a drive to foster team growth.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience specifically within the GCC/Middle East oil & gas market.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi Western Region logistics and stakeholder landscape.
