About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Looking for your next step up in hospitality? If you’re someone who knows that sparkling rooms and thoughtful details make all the difference, you might just be a fit for our Housekeeping Supervisor role in the heart of Downtown Dubai. This position isn’t just about checklists and inventory — it’s about leading a diverse team, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and keeping our luxury hotel running at its absolute best. Ready to help us raise the standard one room at a time?

About the Company

Nestled in the vibrant pulse of Downtown Dubai, our hotel blends world-class comfort with genuine local hospitality. Our team is international, energetic, and always striving to delight each guest—whether that’s through a warm greeting in the lobby or those little touches that make a room feel like a sanctuary. We believe in open communication, support innovation at every level, and, yes, we’re the sort of place where birthdays and work anniversaries don’t go uncelebrated. Every Friday, you’ll find us signing off the week with a team shoutout and maybe even a treat or two from the pastry kitchen.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assign daily housekeeping tasks based on occupancy and guest requests, ensuring a balanced workload for each staff member
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to guarantee cleanliness and compliance with our quality standards
  • Coach, mentor, and train housekeeping employees — you’ll be the go-to for both new joiners and seasoned pros alike
  • Quickly identify and address performance issues, including tardiness or absences, so the team stays on track
  • Monitor cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, making timely requests to avoid any shortages
  • Communicate any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or furniture concerns to management and follow up on resolutions
  • Foster a positive, supportive team atmosphere where every member feels valued
  • Step in to support staff during peak periods — after all, teamwork sometimes means rolling up your own sleeves
  • Ensure all safety, security, and hygiene protocols are strictly followed throughout the department

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Prior experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably within a hotel environment
  • Strong leadership qualities—you know how to motivate, delegate, and encourage
  • Attention to detail that goes beyond the obvious (think: noticing what’s missing before a guest does)
  • Good communication skills in English; a second language is a plus
  • Organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without getting flustered
  • Familiarity with cleaning products, best practices, and local hygiene standards
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working in Dubai or the wider UAE hospitality sector
  • Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning solutions and sustainability practices
  • Working knowledge of basic computer systems or hotel management software

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and service charge
  • Uniform and meals provided during shifts
  • Employee wellness initiatives and access to amenities
  • Fun, supportive multicultural team — you’ll feel welcome from day one
  • Discounted stays for you and your family at participating hotels
  • Training programs and the opportunity to build your hospitality career with us
  • Prime downtown location, easily accessible by metro or car
  • Regular recognition of your achievements (yes, we do notice the little things!)

At the end of the day, we’re a team that genuinely cares — about our guests and about each other. If you’re looking for a workplace where your leadership makes a real impact, you might have just found your match.
