About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ready to Take the Next Step in Your HR/Admin Career?

Picture yourself at the very heart of one of Dubai’s busiest commercial hubs — Sheikh Zayed Road — where your expertise will keep a thriving office running smoothly. We’re searching for a skilled HR/Administration professional to become the go-to person for people matters, logistics, and keeping things effortlessly organized. If you value variety, responsibility, and the reward of seeing a well-run office, this could be your next chapter.

About Us

Our company isn’t just an office with a skyline view (though you’ll find that, too!); we’re a tight-knit team that keeps things professional without losing our sense of humor. With over 20 employees, we combine steady growth with a friendly, collaborative vibe. You'll find that Monday mornings here arrive with fresh coffee, not dread, and teamwork means lending a hand — or sharing the best shortcut in Excel.

We believe in open communication, recognizing good work, and the occasional team lunch to celebrate wins both big and small. Our leadership is hands-on, supportive, and always open to new ideas — so your opinion counts.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the main point of contact for HR and admin questions, big or small, keeping things running like clockwork.
  • Coordinate office operations — from daily staff needs to organizing company records — ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding, guiding new hires through paperwork and making farewells smooth for everyone involved.
  • Maintain and update HR databases and files using your strong Excel skills, and generate insightful reports for management.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and employee documentation, ensuring compliance and attention to detail.
  • Manage fleet operations (vehicles, maintenance, scheduling) and liaise with drivers, addressing any hiccups on the go.
  • Support a variety of office projects, always ready to roll up your sleeves and jump into what’s next.
  • Interact directly with vendors and external partners — handling office supplies, contracts, and more.

What You’ll Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher (Human Resources or Business Administration a plus).
  • Fluency in English — written and spoken; you’re confident in communication and documentation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially strong with Excel (think pivot tables, formulas, and more than just the basics).
  • Proven ability to multitask across multiple priorities and projects.
  • Previous HR/Administration experience in a company of 20+ employees, so you’re familiar with a fast-paced environment.
  • Fleet management experience is highly desired.
  • UAE driving license preferred (makes things easier, but not an absolute must).

Not sure you meet every single requirement? Introduce yourself anyway — we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Modern office right on Sheikh Zayed Road — easy to reach, with a great city view.
  • Supportive, down-to-earth team that appreciates initiative and new ideas.
  • Opportunities to grow as you take on broader HR responsibilities or lead projects.
  • Competitive salary package and regular recognition for going above and beyond.
  • Flexible approach — we understand life happens.
  • Team-building lunches, birthday treats, and the occasional victory celebration (seriously, we love cake).

If you’re looking for stability while never getting bored, plus a welcoming team that invests in your success, you may have just found your new professional home.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Can you walk us through your process for onboarding a new employee, from initial paperwork to their first day in the office?
  • Tell us about a time you managed multiple HR and administrative tasks at once, ensuring deadlines were met. How did you prioritize?
  • How have you used Excel to create or improve HR reports or databases? Could you give examples of the types of data and formulas you’ve worked with?
  • In your past experience, what steps have you taken to ensure smooth coordination and maintenance of a company's vehicle fleet?
  • Describe a situation where you spotted an error in payroll preparation or employee documentation. What did you do to resolve it?
  • What’s your approach to communicating policy changes or important announcements to a diverse team, especially in a busy office environment?
  • Give an example of when you had to resolve an unexpected issue with an external vendor or partner. What was the outcome?
  • How do you handle confidential HR information to maintain trust and compliance?
  • Tell us about a time you contributed a new idea or improvement to an HR or administrative process. What impact did it have?
  • Imagine a staff member comes to you with a mix of personal and professional concerns affecting their work. How would you support them?
  • How do you keep yourself organized and motivated when the office starts to get particularly hectic?
  • Our team values open communication and humor — can you share how you build rapport and keep the workplace positive, even under pressure?
  • What excites you about contributing to a collaborative, close-knit office like ours, and how do you see yourself adding to our culture?
  • We sometimes celebrate with team lunches or birthday treats — how do you make sure everyone feels included and recognized in workplace celebrations?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a mid-level HR/Administration professional handling a range of responsibilities, including HR operations, office management, payroll support, and fleet coordination in Dubai, you should expect a salary of at least 6,000–9,000 AED per month. Similar roles in reputable companies along Sheikh Zayed Road often offer packages within this range, sometimes higher if you bring strong Excel skills and relevant UAE experience. Don’t hesitate to negotiate if you have fleet management skills or a UAE driving license, as those can push your value toward the upper end of the market average.
