What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting thorough risk assessments on construction and industrial sites to identify hazards before they become incidents.
- Leading safety audits and inspections, and following up with actionable recommendations that actually get implemented.
- Enforcing compliance with UAE HSE regulations as well as international standards (ISO, OSHA—you know the drill).
- Developing, updating, and delivering toolbox talks, inductions, and training sessions that team members actually remember.
- Investigating near-misses and incidents, preparing reports, and helping teams learn from every situation.
- Collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and workers alike to foster a genuine culture of safety.
- Keeping meticulous records—because good documentation is the backbone of good safety.
- Staying abreast of new legislation and best practices, then sharing your knowledge with the wider team.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 2–3 years of hands-on HSE experience in the UAE, specifically within construction and/or industrial sites.
- NEBOSH IGC and IOSH certifications (up-to-date and ready to go).
- Solid understanding of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards.
- Practical experience with risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Strong communication skills—you can talk shop with workers and write clear, concise reports.
- A genuine passion for building a proactive safety culture.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience running safety training sessions or workshops.
- Familiarity with digital HSE management tools.
- Multilingual skills (Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu are a plus).
