About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever thought about the impact a single detailed drawing can have on a space people will work, relax, or innovate in? As our new Interior Fit-Out Draftsman here in the UAE, you’ll be at the heart of transforming design visions into living, breathing reality. This isn’t just a technical role — it’s a chance to shape environments and work closely with creative minds who care about every last detail.
About the Company
We’re a close-knit team of passionate designers, engineers, and architects with a shared drive: creating standout interiors that don’t just impress, but truly function. At our studio, no two projects are the same — one day it’s a modern office in downtown Dubai, the next it’s a boutique cafe with a story to tell. We value curiosity, open feedback (it’s a daily thing here!), and the ability to solve problems creatively. Our office playlists are always changing, too — so feel free to suggest your favorites!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating precise 2D and 3D drawings for a range of interior fit-out projects, from initial idea to finished product.
- Working closely with designers, architects, and engineers — there’s genuine teamwork here, not just handoffs.
- Detailing out partitions, ceilings, furniture, and bespoke fixtures to ensure every measurement and material works in practice, not just on paper.
- Contributing technical support throughout the project lifecycle: from design reviews, to issuing shop drawings, to answering site queries during installation.
- Revising drawings and documents quickly in response to feedback — sometimes even over a quick coffee with the lead designer.
- Making sure your work aligns with both client expectations and the practical realities of site conditions across the UAE.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a similar field.
- Hands-on experience producing drawings for interior fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (and ideally some exposure to 3D tools like SketchUp or Revit).
- A collaborative mindset and clear communication — you won’t be working in a silo here.
- Detail orientation, especially when it comes to technical specs and site requirements.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Past experience on UAE-based projects — but, if you’re a fast learner, we’re open to exploring fresh perspectives.
- Ability to visualize and suggest material or construction alternatives.
- Familiarity with local building codes and industry standards.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- A collaborative, studio-style environment where your ideas are welcome (and actually get heard).
- Competitive salary, plus annual reviews — we believe in recognizing good work.
- Flexible work options: on-site presence is needed, but we support off-peak hours and remote work for focused tasks or life’s little moments.
- Direct exposure to diverse projects: offices, retail, F&B, and more — there’s always something new on the drawing board.
- Learning is baked into the culture: we host monthly knowledge-sharing sessions and sponsor courses when something sparks your interest.
- Regular team lunches and Friday “design huddles” — because good work happens when teams feel connected.
If you’re looking for a role where your technical skill meets real-world impact (and where you’ll never be just a number on an org chart), you’ll feel right at home with us.
