About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself being the go-to person when a printer throws a tantrum or a computer freezes at the worst possible time? As our new IT Support Technician, you’ll be much more than the “fix-it” hero — you’ll be an essential part of keeping our fast-paced office running smoothly. We’re based in the heart of Business Bay, Dubai, and we’re open to fresh faces as well as experienced hands. If you enjoy solving puzzles (both human and computational), you’ll fit right in here.
About the Company
Nestled in Business Bay, we’re a friendly, diverse, and growing team that treats technology as more than just a utility. Our IT department is the backbone that keeps every other function running — and we like to keep things collaborative, supportive, and just a little bit cheeky (ask us about our “tech joke of the week” wall). We believe in learning on the job, lending a helping hand, and growing together as we scale new heights.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responding to day-to-day tech requests — from the “I forgot my password” to “Why won’t this report print?”
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues (think laptops on the fritz or misbehaving software).
- Setting up, configuring, and maintaining computers, printers, and basic network connections.
- Performing routine checks and updates to keep all systems running smoothly (nobody likes unexpected downtime!).
- Assisting in tracking IT inventory and keeping records up to date.
- Collaborating with teammates to document fixes, share know-how, and keep everyone on the same page.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- A basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows/macOS, and office networking.
- Eagerness to learn, problem-solve, and pitch in wherever needed.
- Strong communication skills — patient and clear, even when the tech gets tricky.
- Good organizational habits and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at our Business Bay office.
Nice-to-Haves
- Any IT certifications (CompTIA A+, for example), but not a deal breaker.
- Experience with ticketing systems or helpdesk tools.
- Prior hands-on experience in a similar environment — even if it’s just helping friends or family.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive entry-level salary, plus overtime for those busier weeks.
- Regular opportunities to learn new tech on the job and through company workshops.
- Friendly, supportive colleagues who actually appreciate a quick IT rescue.
- Centrally located office in Business Bay, easy to reach by metro.
- Free coffee, themed team lunches, and a “tech kit” starter pack on day one.
- Room to grow — whether you want to specialize or move up in IT, we’ll cheer you on.
We’re not just looking for another technician; we’re looking for a teammate who’ll help us keep our tech, and our spirits, running strong. If you’re ready to dive in, we’re ready to welcome you!
