Introduction
If you thrive on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and have a knack for untangling technology’s tougher knots, you might just find your next challenge here. Enerco Contracting LLC is looking for an IT Technician/System Administrator with a special focus on managing our on-premise ERP (Focus X 2) system. Based in bustling Business Bay, Dubai, this is a hands-on, diverse role that will see you shaping not just how our teams work internally, but also how we present ourselves digitally to the world. Sound interesting so far?
About the Company
Step inside Enerco, and you’ll find a team that blends big-project ambition with an agile, collaborative spirit. We’re a growing contracting company carving out a reputation for reliability and innovation in Dubai’s competitive landscape — whether it’s delivering complex builds or embracing smart tech to improve the way we work. Here, Friday demo days are a fixture (complete with strong coffee and candid feedback), and we’re fans of real talk and practical solutions. We celebrate milestones, laugh off the occasional server hiccup, and always keep our eyes on what’s next.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee, monitor, and maintain all on-premise servers, ensuring uptime and reliability for our core business operations.
- Take a lead role in the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of the Focus X 2 ERP system — becoming the in-house expert and primary contact.
- Coordinate closely with department heads to understand business workflows and tailor the ERP system to actual user needs.
- Proactively troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, network, and security layers, keeping downtime to a minimum.
- Manage user access controls, backups, updates, and patching cycles with a careful, methodical approach.
- Collaborate with external vendors and IT service providers when deeper technical challenges arise.
- Support our team’s digital presence by assisting with website management, email systems, and online security.
- Occasionally deliver team training sessions, making sure everyone’s up to speed on both basics and best practices.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience managing Windows-based server environments (on-premise) in a mid-sized corporate setting.
- Solid hands-on experience with ERP implementation or administration, ideally Focus X 2 or a similar platform.
- Strong troubleshooting skills — you’re the person people call when “it just won’t work.”
- Comfort with networking principles, security practices, backups, and data management.
- Clear, effective communication style — able to translate tech speak into everyday language.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience supporting digital/web platforms (WordPress, email security, basic SEO).
- Any relevant certifications (MCSE, CCNA, ERP-specific credentials).
- Experience working in construction or contracting sectors.
- Enthusiasm for team training, user support, or process documentation.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you. Genuine interest and curiosity count for a lot here.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary package and full-time, on-site role in our lively Business Bay office (with plenty of local dining options for lunch!).
- Hands-on exposure to a major ERP rollout and a broad mix of technologies—no two days the same.
- Supportive, approachable management — your voice and expertise will be heard.
- Plenty of opportunity for skill development, including sponsored training and certifications.
- Collaborative, real-world team culture where everyone chips in and wins are shared.
You’ll be part of a company that’s growing — and wants you to grow, too. If you’re looking for the kind of IT role where your impact is real and visible every day, welcome to Enerco.
