What You’ll Be Doing

  • Performing a variety of tests on construction materials like concrete, asphalt, and soil — sometimes in the lab, sometimes right out in the field
  • Operating, calibrating, and maintaining lab equipment (think: compression testing machines, sieves, ovens — the works)
  • Recording and analyzing test results with an eagle eye for accuracy, then sharing your findings with the project team
  • Making sure every test and process meets relevant safety and quality standards (your attention to detail keeps our projects — and people — safe)
  • Keeping lab records and inventory organized so nothing important slips through the cracks
  • Pitching in with routine lab tasks and jumping into new challenges as our projects evolve
