What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the installation of Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, and Voice Evacuation setups according to site plans, project specs, and UAE codes
- Running all forms of wiring (conduit, trunking, etc.) and ensuring connections meet safety and quality standards — no shortcuts here
- Programming various panel brands and integrating alarms with public address or BMS systems for seamless operation
- Commissioning systems: conducting functional testing, troubleshooting issues, and making last-minute tweaks to guarantee full compliance
- Coordinating with consultants, main contractors, and inspectors to ensure smooth handover and documentation
- Keeping up-to-date knowledge on UAE Civil Defense regulations and helping our team embed those into every project
- Occasionally supporting emergency or after-hours call-outs — because safety never sleeps
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 5 years hands-on experience with Fire Alarm Systems in the UAE (no, oil & gas or other countries won’t substitute here)
- Solid technical skills in installation, wiring, programming, and commissioning of fire alarm, voice evacuation, and emergency lighting systems
- Working knowledge of major panel brands (you can program them in your sleep)
- Thorough understanding of UAE Civil Defense requirements and documentation processes
- Ability to read technical drawings, site layouts, and electrical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting instincts — you genuinely enjoy “fixing the unfixable”
- Clear communicator — both in the field and with paperwork
Nice-to-Haves:
- Additional certifications (like EST, Notifier, or others)
- Fluent spoken & written English (Arabic is a definite bonus)
- Experience mentoring or leading junior technicians
