About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever wondered what it takes to truly master the Abu Dhabi property market? This isn't just about unlocking doors and hosting viewings; it's about building a portfolio from the ground up. We're looking for an experienced Listing Agent who can spot potential in a building before anyone else does and has the drive to secure those exclusive listings. If you’re someone who thrives on the hunt for the perfect property and enjoys the strategic side of real estate, this role offers a unique chance to make a significant mark in one of the region's most dynamic capitals.
About the Company
We're not a faceless corporate machine. We're a well-connected, boutique real estate firm in Abu Dhabi that believes in the power of genuine relationships over transactional deals. Our team is a tight-knit group of professionals who celebrate wins together—whether that’s a champagne toast for a major portfolio acquisition or a simple high-five for a tricky negotiation closed.
We’ve built our reputation on deep local knowledge and an unwavering commitment to our clients. That means our agents aren't just desk jockeys; they're out in the field, embedded in the community, and given the autonomy to make smart decisions. We value hustle, honesty, and a bit of personality. If you're looking for a place where your insights are heard and your successes are visible, you'll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)
Your primary mission will be to fill our pipeline with high-quality, exclusive listings. But it’s more than just adding numbers to a database. Here’s a closer look at your day-to-day:
- Prospecting & Sourcing: You'll proactively hunt for new listing opportunities. This means tapping into your network, cold-calling building owners, and leveraging every lead to secure properties that meet our portfolio standards.
- Relationship Building: This is the heart of the role. You’ll be the trusted advisor for property owners, which means regular check-ins, providing them with honest market feedback, and ensuring they feel confident in your ability to represent their asset.
- Data Collection & Accuracy: You know that a listing is only as good as its details. You’ll be responsible for gathering accurate property specifics—from exact square footage to the finer points of building amenities—and ensuring our marketing materials are flawless.
- Market Analysis: You’ll keep your finger on the pulse of the Abu Dhabi market. Understanding rental trends and sales values in your designated areas is crucial for advising owners and setting the right asking price.
- Portfolio Management: You’ll actively manage and curate your existing portfolio, ensuring listings are fresh, marketed effectively, and eventually leased or sold in a timely manner.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
We’re looking for a self-starter who understands that a listing agent is the foundation of a successful real estate business. Here’s what we need from you:
Must-Haves:
- Proven Experience: A solid track record as a Listing Agent or a similar role within the Abu Dhabi real estate market. You know the neighborhoods, the buildings, and the key players.
- Market Knowledge: You can talk confidently about market dynamics, from the current rental yields in Al Reem Island to the luxury villa trends on Saadiyat.
- Communication Skills: You’re a natural communicator—both in person and over the phone. You can persuade an owner to list with us and negotiate terms with ease.
- Driver’s License: A valid UAE driving license and access to a car are essential for getting around the city to meet clients and view properties.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Arabic Language: While not mandatory, fluency in Arabic is a fantastic advantage for building deeper connections with local property owners.
- Professional Certification: A RERA certification is a plus, showing you're serious about compliance and professional standards.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you. If you have the drive and the hunger to learn, we’re willing to invest in the right person.
Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)
We believe in rewarding hard work and creating an environment where you can build a long-term career, not just a job.
- Uncapped Commission Structure: Your earning potential is directly tied to your hustle. We offer one of the most competitive commission splits in the city.
- Marketing Support: You won't be left to fend for yourself. We provide professional photography, videography, and premium portal listings to make your properties shine.
- Flexible Schedule: We care about results, not hours spent staring at a screen. Once you’ve hit your targets, you have the flexibility to manage your own day.
- Growth Opportunities: As we expand, we prefer to promote from within. High performers have the chance to step into team lead or management roles.
- A Collaborative Culture: Say goodbye to cutthroat office politics. We share leads, offer advice, and genuinely want to see each other succeed.
At the end of the day, we want you to feel proud of the work you do and excited to come into the office. If you're ready to take your career to the next level and become a key player in our growth story, we’re eager to meet you.
Common Interview Questions and Tips

Walk me through how you’ve successfully sourced exclusive listings in Abu Dhabi before—what was your prospecting strategy, and how did you identify properties before they hit the open market?
When you’re cold-calling building owners or developers, what’s your approach to getting past the initial rejection and sparking genuine interest in listing with your agency?
Tell me about a time you had to convince a property owner to lower their asking price based on market data. How did you present the numbers, and what was the outcome?
How do you stay current on rental yields, sales trends, and upcoming developments across areas like Al Reem Island, Saadiyat, or the Corniche? Can you give me a specific example of how that knowledge helped you advise a client?
Let’s talk about listing accuracy. What systems or habits do you use to make sure every detail—from square footage to building amenities—is correct before marketing a property?
Describe a situation where a listing sat on the market longer than expected. What steps did you take to refresh its positioning, and how did you communicate that to the owner?
Think about a time you had to balance multiple property owners who all wanted urgent attention. How did you prioritize, and how did you keep everyone feeling valued?
Can you share an experience where a negotiation got tense—maybe with an owner who had unrealistic expectations or a buyer pushing hard on price? How did you navigate it while preserving the relationship?
What does “being a trusted advisor” mean to you in practice? How do you build that level of trust with a property owner you’ve just met?
Our team prides itself on collaboration over competition. Tell me about a time you shared a lead or helped a colleague close a deal, even when it didn’t directly benefit you.
How do you handle the unpredictable nature of this job—like a viewing falling through at the last minute or a deal collapsing after weeks of work?
