About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Ever wondered what keeps the wheels of international business turning smoothly in Dubai’s fast-paced trading world? At DIC, we believe it’s all about meticulous coordination and calm under pressure. We’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator who thrives on making things happen—someone who loves solving puzzles, managing a hundred moving parts, and making sure customers and colleagues always know what’s next. If you’re excited by the idea of transforming supply chain chaos into seamless flow, this role might just be your next big move.

About the Company

DIC isn’t your typical logistics hub. Based in the heart of Dubai, our team serves as the hidden engine behind some of the region’s most recognized brands. We value agility as much as accuracy and have a collaborative culture where creative problem-solvers tend to stand out. You’ll find us swapping quick fixes and pro tips over coffee, celebrating successful deliveries, and occasionally debating the best route through morning traffic. We’re growing, and as we expand, so do the opportunities for every member of our team to learn, lead, and shape the way logistics gets done in Dubai.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating both inbound and outbound shipments within Dubai and across the region, always keeping timelines tight and efficiency top of mind
  • Liaising daily with suppliers, transport partners, warehouse staff, and internal teams to ensure information flows as smoothly as goods do
  • Reviewing delivery schedules and tracking shipments—anticipating and resolving delays before they escalate
  • Maintaining meticulous shipment records, from waybills to customs documents, so every detail checks out under scrutiny
  • Identifying process improvements; maybe it’s an easier scheduling tool or a tweak in documentation—your input will matter
  • Providing clear, friendly updates to all stakeholders (and keeping everyone calm when last-minute changes pop up)
  • Juggling multiple tasks with a sense of humor, and always looking for ways to streamline the supply chain

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or a related operations environment
  • Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail (catching the small stuff before it becomes big stuff)
  • Excellent communication—both written and verbal (English required; Arabic a bonus)
  • Familiarity with logistics systems, shipment tracking tools, and common shipping documents
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, especially when it comes to transport hiccups and juggling conflicting priorities

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working within Dubai or GCC regional logistics
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs clearance procedures
  • A positive attitude, even when things get hectic

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary, plus annual performance bonuses
  • Health insurance and generous annual leave
  • Supportive team culture—your wins get noticed, and your ideas get a platform
  • Hybrid work possibilities after onboarding
  • Learning opportunities: internal training, industry conferences, cross-training with other teams
  • Occasionally, Friday lunch is on us—and yes, we celebrate big project wins together

More than just a job, you'll join a company where problem-solvers thrive and every day brings a new challenge to tackle. We think you’ll find your rhythm here.
