What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing clear, detailed mechanical drawings for HVAC, plumbing (including drainage, stormwater, and water supply) systems in a variety of building projects.
- Using AutoCAD to create, update, and revise 2D mechanical layouts and schematics.
- Working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure all drawings reflect the latest design changes and client specifications.
- Reviewing redlines and markups, then making sure updates are accurately incorporated into the master drawings.
- Clearly communicating technical details and changes to both office and site teams to help keep everyone on the same page.
- Maintaining a meticulous archive of drawings and documentation — because you know accuracy matters, especially when deadlines are tight.
- Occasionally visiting project sites to understand real-world constraints and ensure your plans translate to smooth execution.
What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman, ideally in the construction or contracting sector.
